“That Silly Guy”
A philosopher began counting grains of sand near the ocean.
He tried counting each grain of sand, said to himself, “2 + 2 = 4.”
That was his stupid estimation- 2 + 2 = 4.
More grains of sand, two at a time, were brought up to totals of four.
People didn’t give any recognition to this idiot.
What everyone on the beach saw was philosophy of the impossible: counting sand.
Someone would have to be very silly in even attempting this math.
But, alas, he counted again and again, picking up grains of sand to his own cause.
Lots of grains of sand broke apart in his need of renewing the mistake.
Errors piled up until the moon stopped sleeping.
He counted, and he counted, and he counted, never to end or be finished.
“2 + 2 = 4.”
The guy summed, summed, and only summed according to random focus.
Nobody cared about this moron.
All on the beach was dug, even to counting, where he persisted in impossible math.
How many grains of sand were there, really?
Impossible!
Ordinary people couldn’t add up grains of sand for whatever motive.
Moral of the poem- it’s not enough to have math; it depends on where it’s learned.
