Poem- “New and Old Machines”

“New and Old Machines”

False statement:

“Whatever technology people lose was bad.”

Truth:

“If we can get modern technology, we can lose modern technology.”

Question:

“Is modern technology always better?”

Answer:

“Sometimes we just get new technology and leave great machines behind.”

Meaning:

“An old giant falls for a new guy to lift.”

Description:

“New and good, old and bad- these words aren’t parallel under quality control.”

Poem- “The Turkey”

“The Turkey”

I had special education.

Our teacher told us to make a turkey with paper, glue, and feathers.

You’re probably asking, “What kind of turkey?”

Well, not a turkey sandwich, in case you’re wondering.

We were told to make “the turkey”.

That was a euphemism for the big, bold, gobbling male turkey.

The male turkey was “the turkey” according to elementary school.

No teacher ever showed us a female turkey.

I wonder why.

A female turkey is supposed to look and sound different.

But, me and the other students just made a male turkey.

None of us knew it was a male, or, “man” of turkey.

In my entire life of education I was never informed about female turkeys.

So, there you have it!

I am totally illiterate and uneducated about turkeys.

I was just told to make “the turkey” without knowing it first.

And, I was only learning about Thanksgiving and eating “turkey”.

What’s in your turkey sandwich?

Poem- “Talk and Talk”

“Talk and Talk”

You can’t use big words for small talk.

A whole must be the greatest piece.

Have little pieces for the whole.

Talk is the whole and words are pieces.

When words are too big, the whole talk explodes on impact.

You’re not trying to “kill” the audience.

Remember that.

That’s why slang always involves opposition and denial- the words are too big.

Videogame Review, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid on the Playstation 4 (PS4)

Videogame Review, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid on the Playstation 4 (PS4)

This “new” game is familiar to me.  When I play with my PS4 controller, this PS4 game plays very much like Vectron for the Intellivision video game console.  You do get some impressive high definition graphics!  It’s a game that keeps me engaged with attraction for poor controls.  It does sound like a contradiction in terms with words like “attraction” and “poor” but it’s true.  Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is fun to play because it’s a light, easy attraction.  But gamers need to think about more in life and living.  Fun is only one factor.  You also get mechanics or electronic features that are appealing for weak, powerful conflict.  It’s weak and powerful, it’s special and boring, it’s fantastic and lame- the list goes on.  You do need some lame rangers for the enemies to appear more victorious and reasonable.  What am I reasoning on here?  It’s a PS4 game with a mixture of common sense and uncommon sense.  Put those forms of sense together and you’re going to have problems.  Our differences as reviewers have to do with strength and judgement.  We don’t always understand each other.  With all this conflict and drama in fighting with power rangers there’s heat of battle and lame excuses.  One fake power ranger will call himself a “god”.  He’s a bad guy, so it makes sense in terms of story.  Yet, I don’t find him a particular threat in action; I usually just defeat him and my Playstation 4 console beeps.  Wow!  I find this PS4 game fascinating for all the wrong reasons when good guys and bad guys mix up into battle fronts.  Power rangers are sexy, adorable, and wonderfully conflicted of purpose.  Boring people who play the Playstation 4 are also sexy.  As evidence, nobody on a dating website says, “I’m a horrible person with an ugly face.”  And, so, the power rangers find it difficult to admit weakness in the name of defeat with victory.  The game is low-budget; it shows.  My home theater system makes the PS4 game better in audio at first.  Then, when I hit story, I hear too much of some things and hear too little of other things.  Perhaps this isn’t the fault of any programmer in charge.  My home theater system does not work that well with the Atari VCS 800 at all and the Playstation 5 can be “spotty” in music and volume.  Elton John, a famous singer and piano player, is also “spotty”.  The variety in Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is fair and light-hearted on fumes of disappointment and romantic wonder.  Like I’ve said, boring people are sexy.  That includes power rangers.  It’s a teenager’s game and for a good reason.  It’s a really, really violent game.  We do not have blood.  But, we do have blasts, powers, electricity, and laser stuff.  My instructions for the game are understandable and the presentation is relatable; however, once I’m putting in a few hours of gameplay, random results are guaranteed.  I don’t think the blocking works fine.  If anything, I play the PS4 controller for Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, just like I play the Intellivision controller for Vectron.  Although the Intellivision and Playstation 4 are video game consoles from different generations, history repeats itself.  Even if the high definition graphics are impressive (and, they are impressive) there’s still a game with “the future” in guesswork.  At least it’s a fun game for a low price!  Some bad games are fun; some fun games are extreme.  I can only manage the basics a little.  This PS4 game reminds me of a lot and I behold it to doubt a lot.  The fantasy is wild, crazy, and deplorable and with modest effort, except for control and relationships of sympathy.  It’s fun, but it’s still not that quality we hope for.

Videogame Review, Lock ’N’ Chase for the Atari VCS 800

Videogame Review, Lock ’N’ Chase for the Atari VCS 800

Do you use bad words near your grandma?  My grandparents were owners for these old video games.  If you use a “bad word” for this old game, that’s disrespect against my grandma and grandpa.  Keep that in mind for history.  And, not just MY grandparents!  Think about other people and their grandparents.  Some of these grandmas and some of these grandpas could’ve been playing Pong for all we know.  But, I forgive you.  It’s not easy to play modern games and go back to old games.  You go to the “old” games, sure.  But you probably don’t “think” they’re old.  You probably think they are still a point of reference for modern video games and that’s where young people (I’m afraid) get confused.  Let’s say you’re going to play old video games and see what old video games do.  Well, you’re old, but not that old.  Millions of original fans for Pac-Man have already died.  Does that mean anything to a common reviewer of video games?  No.  Death seems impossible to a young man.  Modern gamers just don’t respect old video games like they should.  People die.  Death has existed forever on Earth for as long as living creatures were keeping up with nature.  Lock ’N’ Chase is a symbol for the dead, as well as, the living.  I hope you’re proud of yourself.  All these mistakes, all these errors- where do you go wrong?  Nobody’s perfect.  Hey, I’m not perfect.  But I do enjoy these old video games.  My father doesn’t think I’ve reached my middle-age yet.  Odd.  Playing these old video games itself takes practice and concentration where applicable.  Personally, I think, even in terms of the 1980’s, the arcade machine for Lock ’N’ Chase could’ve been better.  I can’t see why the gates and doors in the bank can’t function well like the Intellivision version of Lock ’N’ Chase.  I believe the Intellivision video game console is cool.  (Well, not for every Intellivision game, but that’s another story.)  I will die in the future; however, it’s all just a guess.  Most of my grandparents are now dead.  Lock ’N’ Chase is an interesting maze game.  The police officers in the game are smart.  In fact, I think the police in an arcade game like this one are “too smart for their own good”.  I’ve used those words before for video games.  The maze (or, “bank”, like a financial institution) could’ve been bigger and the enemies smaller.  Or, are the police officers really “enemies” or something of that sort?  I’m in control of a bank robber for crying out loud!  Ha ha.  Running away from police is fun.  The cartoon imagery is very fun to look at and a joy to hear from the music and sound effects.  It’s a very quick video of cop and robber.  I immediately feel the tension.  Graphics and visuals are not the best kind by modern standards.  So much has changed with modern technology!  I can still play old games and get amusement.  Most readers of books do not say, “Oh, don’t read Shakespeare!  Shakespeare is obsolete!”  Even to this day, saying such a thing about Shakespeare would be a crime against humanity!  So, what this means is, you can’t just hate old video games.  Old video games include classics such as Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Joust.  Does any reviewer say, “Pac-Man is obsolete”, or am I missing something?  Pac-Man is godlike.  No videogame reviewer can even HAVE those words with confidence.  Not to mention, Lock ’N’ Chase is like Pac-Man.  Lock ’N’ Chase was great in the arcade, but I give the Intellivision version of Lock ’N’ Chase a greater mark of approval.  The bank’s doors just work better on the Intellivision.  The 4K TV makes a big difference.

Poem- “Please Note”

“Please Note”

“It’s not a computer.”

So, it’s not a PC?

Okay.

No PC games.

PC games are the latest technology in video games.

PC means “personal computer” and that means “computer”.

I’m sorry you have such a terrible device.

No more PC games for you!

No more computer games, no more PC games.

Nothing for PC Gamer reviewers to look at.

You can’t have PC games without a computer.

That’s really sad.

Really?

A device that can’t play Call of Duty or Mass Effect?

Sad, really sad.

Microsoft will be so happy for you.

Videogame Review, Clu Clu Land for the Nintendo Entertainment System (w/ Nintendo Switch)

Videogame Review, Clu Clu Land for the Nintendo Entertainment System (w/ Nintendo Switch)

When a nerd provides us with innovation, it’s probably just an error.  This “classic” game is fascinating.  A story like this about poles, jewelry, and oceanic fantasies has to draw some attention.  It’s not a Pac-Man clone.  Clu Clu Land is really a world of its own.  My gameplay makes the character dizzy and I get pretty dizzy, too.  A game like this for the Nintendo Entertainment System “back in the day” would’ve been seen as an innovative work of art.  But players do enjoy good controls.  Maybe people back in the day would’ve not been so sensitive about such controls.  Your main character is a bubble and moves like one.  Pac-Man is not a bubble.  There’s definitely a vague sense of control for Clu Clu Land.  With all this “innovation” for a nerd it’s really just an error.  We do have gamers who enjoy games like scientific types.  Science makes Clu Clu Land worthy of interest.  That’s a problem!  Scientists (and nerds) often enjoy hurting themselves.  We even have artists who enjoy pain.  At least the frustration with Clu Clu Land is imaginary and pretty much nonsense.  Having my wireless controller for the Nintendo Switch does not help matters except for amusement of making mistakes again and again.  The feature presentation is understandable.  It’s worth noting that I think the difficulty levels are few and bare.  Clu Clu Land will cure any gamer with Pac-Man addiction and destroy the obvious habit.  Let’s be honest!  Pac-Man is an obvious habit.  We just don’t always notice this because Pac-Man only starts with a couple lives.  Clu Clu Land also starts with a couple lives but plays like an erratic wilderness of bounces and whoppers.  Graphics and visuals are above average by NES standards.  The field of play is interesting even if it’s a struggle to really find the points of contact and keep them for release.  Controls like this did exist for the Intellivision video game console.  The difference was, a great deal of the field of play was on the Intellivision controller while, for the NES game, the field of play comes in layers on a TV screen for Clu Clu Land.  What you must consider is that the Intellivision controller was designed with buttons which were like “bubbles”.  Here, for Clu Clu Land, your Switch controller doesn’t have bubbles, but the game has bubbles on your TV screen.  I guess there was a real struggle to put the bubbles where they fit.  A bubble doesn’t exactly “click” and instead “bursts”.  So, Clu Clu Land is not a clicking game, but a bursting game.  The game has maps with that particular design for softness and the rounding of curves.  I’m one of the best Pac-Man players in the world.  Do I think Clu Clu Land is justice to the Pac-Man formula?  Not exactly.  If anything, Clu Clu Land is a negative reaction to the Pac-Man formula.  Pac-Man does not have much in the way of innovation.  What this means is that Pac-Man for the innovative Atari 5200 video game console was something of a contradiction in terms since Pac-Man doesn’t “fire” and the Atari 5200 controller has buttons in over 12 spaces.  Clu Clu Land does have innovation; however, you must play the game to find out, where TV gives the innovation and controller gives the basics.

Videogame Review, Duck Hunt for the NES Top Loader (w/ Brand New 3rd-Party Zapper Controller)

Videogame Review, Duck Hunt for the NES Top Loader (w/ Brand New 3rd-Party Zapper Controller)

My “old” TV is brand new.  The controller and video game machine are also brand new.  My game comes from a used copy of that Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt game collection and my review will focus on Duck Hunt.  It’s a great shooting program.  However, there’s a little catch.  My zapper controller isn’t tactical- when managing my device near the “old” TV there’s only so much control possible with a game of ducks or clay.  Consider this device as a toy.  Nintendo was really going strong for the toy market for children.  A zapper controller like mine is very orange with a hint of black.  When I play a game of “2 Ducks” my device can’t always leave a shot between two windows of opportunity and, what happens is, one window of opportunity will “open” even if I’m trying to miss between both windows.  A duck is like a window of opportunity.  Duck Hunt is not a war game; it’s a source of amusement for immature play fighting.  This classic game for the Nintendo Entertainment System is still mostly worthy of notice.  Modern gamers are often familiar with 1st-person shooters where they aim with weapons in a game and have exact precision for aim.  With my brand new TV and zapper controller, Duck Hunt is obviously not one of those “modern” games.  If anything, even for Duck Hunt, it was the Nintendo Wii U that allowed players to have more accurate control with a zapper controller.  The Nintendo Wii remote is very underrated in this regard.  So, compared to the NES Zapper, the Nintendo Wii remote is more accurate for Duck Hunt.  It’s still very fun to go back in the “time machine” with my “old” TV.  I purchased my zapper controller from eBay, brand new, and it was very cheap.  That helps with the cost of my “TV” if you can recognize the TV for what it is.  A modern, 4K TV looks very different compared to my “old” TV.  A 4K TV is a flat screen even if modern games can have greater 3D and virtual touch of gameplay.  At times with my old TV I’ve noticed that Duck Hunt is a 2D game impacting aim and control with slight exaggeration of mechanics.  My zapper controller plays like a squirt gun without the water!  It’s a powerful, steady device with a firm grip.  In the past (my past) a neighbor worried about squirt guns in her religious faith for her kids.  I believe Duck Hunt is more peaceful as an ordinary amusement.  Playing squirt guns with kids can be a risk of friendship in conflict and drama.  Kids get very sensitive over unimportant situations.  My video game collection is more of an adult’s delight for entertainment and TV privileges.  The clay shooting is very fun and it gets challenging to put the shots on the white circles floating in the program’s imaginary sky.  Duck Hunt is imaginary.  Honestly, I was a boy scout in my childhood.  I can tell you that Duck Hunt is very comfortable and easy to deal with.  Shooting clay in real life at camp is actually a very hard game and living for the moment takes practice in such manner of discipline.  When I was shooting clay at camp as a young man, my shoulder got really hurt from the pressure and anxiety of target practice.  Duck Hunt does make me sweat with some exercise.  The Nintendo Wii U has the best aim for Duck Hunt with the Nintendo Wii remote.  Just consider my videogame review as a “nostalgia trip”.

Videogame Review, 3D Billiards for the Playstation 5 (PS5)

Videogame Review, 3D Billiards for the Playstation 5 (PS5)

The game of pool can be a source for bad habits.  If you remember old Disney movies, you know this.  My big brother even had a party for some game of pool and two players in their grey hairs were enjoying a sport of pretend under foul mannerism.  A Nintendo Gamecube did wonders for pool.  So, where does this Playstation 5 game go in a rating?  Not so high.  Or, rather, it’s not so hot.  3D Billiards plays like an average PC game with a little 4K TV mixed in.  An experienced PC gamer knows what that means!  Consider the gameplay.  It’s a tiny spark for our entertainment industry and includes very few words, features, and options.  The game rooms have some fantasy out of boredom.  You can hear “ghosts” talking in the game rooms.  They’re not really ghosts; they’re just a careless audience of laughter and vanity, just like me, for this case.  Controls depends on a mixture of aggression and accuracy that requires fighting with the thumbsticks.  It’s not fun to play, it’s just ordinary amusement.  Looking at my equipment for the sport is hard on the eyes and colors mix and match at random according to camera angles of 3D within disorderly fashion of gaming by both viewership and experience.  The computer opponents are not organized into proper slots and their skills don’t match with labels of stars that should’ve indicated skill levels for real and can’t have.  You do get a variety of pool “orbs” with flashing glitter and wonder of design.  Each game room has plenty of space although the pool players hardly move around much to begin with.  A white ball connects to other balls for pockets or the simple miss.  Music for the game doesn’t ring a bell for me since the music sounds like the kind of music a boss plays to kick customers out of his restaurant.  So, what’s all the laughter and cheer from the “ghosts” for?  Even if we’re to consider skill, 3D Billiards lets you control a “mighty” character in the beginning of a tournament, and, were skills to matter for the PS5 game, I would continue beating opponents with ease until the very end.  Difficulty does not get interesting until the very last match of each tournament.  Scratch that.  A “tournament” is only a menu of options to complete games for new avatars who look humorous and play too slow or too fast.  Pool Paradise for the Nintendo Gamecube is a great video game with depth and big, wild fantasy.  3D Billiards for the Playstation 5 is a quick excuse for a cheap thrill.  Not everything in 4K TV goes unnoticed.  The game rooms do have styles that suggest shopping and dining under the sun.  A decent amount of detail reveal 4K TV’s sharpness and contrast of shades between minimal effects of power.  My aim for the pockets is efficient and tiresome when holes connect of obvious physics.  Playing with the PS5 controller for 3D Billiards has not necessarily been comfortable.  Pushing a button takes practice even if the practice remains for less function and more crazy thought.  Favors are not well with the pool game and my senses kick in for dull interest.  It’s fine to have a basic desire, I just really need something more powerful in viewpoint and fantasy.  In the modern age, it’s still difficult for a programmer to put characters in a game room and I feel a bit near the simplicity of pool on where complicated matters vanish into choice rules.  Here, for 3D Billiards, I don’t really feel like I have made a discovery of “choice” and the PS5 game plays average on volume.  You’ll see a sign that says “Nachos”.  Honestly, I want nachos instead.  This is boring!

Videogame Review, V Tetris for the Virtual Boy

Videogame Review, V Tetris for the Virtual Boy

My gameplay for V Tetris has lasted for about 5 hours.  That’s a long time of gameplay for the Virtual Boy, since the virtual video game system is more demanding of your eyes of sight.  From the looks of things, V Tetris is something of a mystery.  It’s a Japanese influence and with such strength of haiku-like viewpoint.  You get courses or levels that display the seasons in motion of block-to-block combat of performance into high scores.  Honestly, I don’t entirely understand this Virtual Boy game.  A Japanese citizen would understand this game more.  What you must consider is that the game is really surreal and virtuous of weather in graphics and display.  A level can have stars reaching for the sky, or clowns with toys in particular mannerism, or woods upon fantasy of black and red vibrations, or a background over subtle plants and virtual landscape under red lights of natural futures, etc.  It’s very mysterious.  Actually, around half of the challenges draw a blank for me.  I’ve done research into V Tetris and I’m still mystified.  Not to mention, I took Elementary Japanese in Bakersfield College, so this is pretty surprising.  The gameplay does appear to work well even if there’s mystery behind the curtains and in front for viewership.  Virtual effects amount to loose red and reflecting black near my kitchen light.  Please don’t ask me to play for longer than 5 hours.  That would “kill” my eyes!  But from what I see the graphics and feature presentation is impressive.  Compared to Tetris for the Game Boy, V Tetris for the Virtual Boy is longer, smoother, and extremely graceful.  Game instructions draw a line but I can’t exactly reach it in my current literacy.  IQ plays a role for video games because we have intelligence for goals and directions; it’s natural.  Gamers with higher IQ may find the game either more satisfying or more repetitive.  At least my short review covers a “short” game.  Reviewers and critics of video games today have often not been increasing their length of reviewing while video games in modern times have been longer and longer.  Now we have “modern” gamers who give short reviews for long video games from the modern era.  This is perhaps a degree of injustice for literature and art.  My short review does cover V Tetris well; however, I don’t think the length of this review would be suitable for a modern video game that plays for 40 hours or more.  The Video Game Critic has written short reviews for all games for the most part and that’s because the Atari 2600 video game library existed during his childhood.  Almost all Atari 2600 games are very short.  In comparison to most Atari 2600 games, V Tetris for the Virtual Boy is a much, much longer game.  I can play V Tetris for about 30 minutes at a time (which isn’t too bad).  Getting a high score with Tetris gameplay does take getting used to.  For starters, consider the table you’re playing a Virtual Boy on- you’re likely going to need a table for the Virtual Boy.  I don’t recommend playing with the Virtual Boy on your face while on your bed because the Virtual Boy does not have an appropriate dimension for your nose and eyebrows.  It’s best to just “take a quick look” and enjoy the virtual world of V Tetris.

Poem- “To Be Social”

“To Be Social”

I can’t believe every teacher from my personal history of education.

An English teacher said, “Communism and socialism are the same.”

A History teacher said, “Communism and socialism are NOT the same.”

I can only believe both teachers for a metaphor.

“Social” behaviors don’t always make sense.

A word like “social” is in socialism.

“Social” as in social.

Social as in “social”.

Poem- “Breakfast Cereal”

“Breakfast Cereal”

He remembers the old food.

The food was good, healthy, and delicious.

But, the food eventually went bad.

Good food became old food.

He remembers the old food.

The food used to be good, healthy, and delicious.

Now he doesn’t like the food even if it’s good.

He doesn’t just think the old food is bad.

Now he thinks the good food is bad.

The old food is bad.

It stinks, rots, and turns green.

The old food can be like rotten milk.

Rotten milk was good milk.

However, he makes a terrible mistake from the wonder.

He doesn’t just hate the rotten milk.

Now, he hates good milk.

He thinks good milk is “crap”.

He believes good milk was always “crap”.

It’s a lie.

Milk is good, healthy, and delicious.

He enjoyed the milk.

The milk was wonderful and a very nutritious drink.

So, what’s happening?

Why is his belief a “lie” of sorts?

Because good milk is not “rotten”.

But, he remembers rotten milk and gives good milk a false label.

He calls good milk “crap” because of rotten milk.

This is a falsehood.

It’s dishonest and unworthy.

His thinking skill is totally wrong.

Good food comes with an expiration date.

Keep this in mind!

It’s only “bad” AFTER expiration date.

The food was good until expiration date.

And, if the food is made again, the food can still be good.

Only old people have that much disgust.

A younger audience would hear him and think he’s a mean old man.

Should this man even begin to be “rotten” himself?

He can’t just throw himself away.

The food is good until expiration date.

And, rotten milk can still be a common result of good habit.

And, even after food goes bad, he still has nice memories of “good” food.

Doesn’t that history mean anything to him?

Or, was the past, even his birth, just “an accident” like milk and honey?

Keep your history and represent the past as it was, not just as it is.

Videogame Review, Sonic CD for the Sega CD

Videogame Review, Sonic CD for the Sega CD

Graphics and music can be interesting even when playing isn’t the object of real honesty.  If it’s no goal to play, it’s no goal to watch.  Videogames can be so lame for this reason.  Players will keep watching video from a game even when the difficulty is absolute nonsense.  Have you seen a blue hedgehog?  Maybe, maybe not.  At least there’s no silly trophy for rewards- earning a trophy before gameplay with power isn’t real, so, were Sonic CD put in modern update, the high definition video would finish with less input and more showcase.  Sonic CD is a showcase.  We get too much power from the Sega CD to just ignore graphics and music.  Video is a display that doesn’t always come with connection between player and goal.  You know this.  Past and future become objects of ridicule and despise within pleasing humor for art upon broken dreams in this case.  Jumping over materials leaves me with confusion and disorderly fashion.  That’s ironic.  CD players were made precisely because CD players should’ve been convenient.  Sonic CD is never a source of convenience.  Just setting up the Sega CD gets tricky and my instruction manual doesn’t help matters; in fact, I only know so much about Sega CD due to other gamers and their stories of misfortune.  The instruction manual for my #2 Sega CD model is something of a void in information.  The video and music are so “good” I wish I can play well.  You see, Sonic CD is a spin on good tastes until improvement disappears or goes down with increase of power back and forth between gameplay and viewership.  You always watch Sonic CD; however, do you always “play” Sonic CD?  Lack of convenience is a factor to negative humor upon moments of my twisted clock in gameplay.  Future and Past are two gates that lead to a small, inevitable transfer of contact and my Sega CD must keep running for a dizzy blue hedgehog on fumes for divided patterns of movement and horrible victory against an exact science.  For Sonic the Hedgehog I think there can be too much of this “science” stuff.  You’ll see objects that can’t always be landed.  Why?  Because Sega said so!  Of course, I’m very ignorant of engineering and must be lame under a programmer’s tricks of positive hazards within reach.  What’s interesting is that Sonic CD does have a length for colors, visuals, and sounds, although I’m not sure if the length comes with guarantee for performance of talents, especially when new moves amount to trouble against Sonic’s will and my own skills pass away into time zones between possible cheat and impossible thrill.  My feelings are mixed.  Still, the collision detection is most certainly unresponsive at best.  Running with a blue hedgehog does take practice but I think by this point with their Sega CD Sega was forgetting Sonic’s run and basically made a machine with too much power and electricity for understanding of challenge.  As evidence, the Sega Dreamcast and the Sega Saturn use less electricity, or, at least have fewer cables for power.  Sonic CD is a powerful demonstration of cables at work.  With general knowledge, I enjoy watching video and listening to music, even if gameplay is another story.  Sonic CD is a “classic” of flaws and shows off with surging disadvantage.

Videogame Review, Sparkle Unleashed for the Playstation 5 (PS5)

Videogame Review, Sparkle Unleashed for the Playstation 5 (PS5)

It’s a retro work of minimalism for colorful orbs between light and darkness.  This PS5 game should appeal to beginners; however, I think experts will be pretty confused and irritated.  Starting around level 40 the colorful orbs will likely begin falling into a hole for you to remember and connect chains of orbs.  You’re probably wondering, “What happens if I forget what orbs fall into the hole?”  Too bad!  And, that’s a big problem.  You’re going to need to guess what orb is falling into the hole.  This forces you to shoot lots of orbs in frustration and the chain may never work.  Graphics and music are 4K TV quality.  But remember, it’s still minimalism.  Just the title screen is full of way too much purple and the fires don’t “ignite” with my feelings and emotions.  I know it’s about light and darkness even if there’s conflict of orbs against magical weapons that are contained in high definition balloons.  My 4K TV is big, really big.  In fact, for Sparkle Unleashed, I think my 4K TV is TOO big.  I’m expected to stretch my eyes very wide near the 4K TV and my eyes just can’t handle all of the information available in visuals and text.  The game is fun for a while.  It’s like an older Xbox game but with more tools and weapons for combat.  We’re not given much of a story on why you need all these orbs and why all these orbs need you to do something with them.  The feature presentation is quite romantic.  Think about it!  You have orbs, that look like balls; and, you must come to the light and escape from darkness.  The PS5 game is very cheap and affordable.  My PS5 controller plays the game very well and I understand the challenges ahead.  You can play in an “unlimited” mode if you’re willing to handle so many orbs, butterflies, wild orbs, and fruitful slogans of maintenance.  Opening new weapons is easy!  Between level 70 and level 80 my PS5 game becomes too hard.  Keep in mind that levels 40 and 50 are already very hard.  Remembering the falling orbs which are in a hole really adds up to the intense feeling and excitement of disappointment.  At least I enjoy the disappointment with some good results.  I’ve had worse.  The Playstation 5 video game console does not use too much electricity.  What happens from this reality is that, as I’m playing the Playstation 5, electricity only gives me so much effect for visual display of affection and personality, near a 4K TV with bright, cheerful modesty of engineering.  I’ve seen better colors on older, vintage gaming consoles, but some old, vintage gaming consoles like the Colecovision and the Virtual Boy were giant users of electricity.  The Playstation 5 appears to be more environmentally friendly at least with some degrees of graphics and entertaining definitions.  I don’t play a video game on my Playstation 5 just because it’s free.  That can be a big mistake!  Sparkle Unleashed was a very interesting game.  The story is plain and kind of boring.  Then again, with a simple message of light and darkness, colors can match until a harvest of seasons is burning fumes.

Poem- “A Horror Movie”

“A Horror Movie”

To be gentle for a horror movie is vulgar.

You need to be afraid.

Without fear, there’s no participation.

It’s a horror movie.

Do you want to get hurt or something?

That’s not good judgement.

People have to fear evil or else they’re just violent and crazy.

Judgement requires focus and intention.

If you want to be gentle, watch a nice Christmas movie.

Halloween is a source of horror.

Easter bunnies are gentle.

Forget liars, they’re pretending awful circumstances in safety.

Poem- “Suggestive”

“Suggestive”

Sometimes, a black man probably imagines I’m “dead” or something.

But I’m not.

I’m just white.

We get nervous around other people.

His feeling makes sense.

A movie can have ghosts and spirits with horror and fantasy.

To be honest, I’m not going to suddenly turn into a zombie.

Let’s trust the living more.

I’m standing, I’m on my two feet, and I feel fine.

My skin is just… well, skin, nothing more.

“Leading to Hurt”

Beware of a liar who has good ideas.

Why?

He’s still a liar.

Those are just good ideas.

Videogame Review, Heavy Barrel for the NES Top Loader (w/ Brand New Machine)

Videogame Review, Heavy Barrel for the NES Top Loader (w/ Brand New Machine)

If you can’t read and write, forget video games.  When you consider that video game companies offer licenses and terms of use to players you really can’t just play video games without reading and writing.  Try to avoid video games with extremely ridiculous stories; those games can discourage literacy and understanding.  A videogame company cannot just release a game and simply force me to be quiet about the game when I have the right and privilege of education and learning.  That’s illegal in my country.  Now that I’ve gotten that off my chest let’s begin this review.  Heavy Barrel is an action game with shooting and treasure collecting.  I have attitude and it’s required.  The action gets intense for the beginner’s sense of the word- on the Nintendo Entertainment System, expect to see treasures and hear arcade beats of music.  Some people say the NES game is better than the arcade version.  Well, that’s not entirely accurate, but polite manners can be excused.  You can hear a little silence between the moments.  Heavy Barrel runs better in audio and video with the red and yellow cables that my NES Top Loader does not make main function of.  I’m running the machine with RF or radio frequency.  Ironically, Heavy Barrel does not play well on my original Nintendo Entertainment System because the game “drags” and the old NES machine struggles to put the video and audio on display for gameplay.  (For your information, this review and note for video games counts as “freedom of speech”.  It doesn’t matter if a video game programmer is communist or fascist or something of the like.  He must obey the American law if he wants his product to be here.)  The controls are steady and perfect for the job and auto-fire is just a nice option.  Obviously Heavy Barrel is not so much about “control” or else there would be no war to fight in and you must fight in a war with 8-bit display of slogans and uniforms.  My mail was delivered in real life by the United States Postal Service and my video games came in the mail by law and order of shipping in my country.  The audio and video can be tricky for management.  A Nintendo Entertainment System is obviously a library of games from Nintendo and other video game companies.  I do feel bad about games that sneak their way into the library but I’m somewhat powerless to do anything about it.  Just out of honesty, I would recommend to viewers to be careful of unlicensed games and controllers since video game companies in our history would get nerdy and accidental in use.  My good judgement rests with the entertainment and fun in this case.  I don’t like broken games and controllers.  Everything works on my brand new machine even if the game is old and used.  Gameplay is really terrific!  The abstract art does justice, the video feels fresh and bright, and the sounds pump up the modern technology.  I consider this NES equipment modern technology in part due to eBay and online shopping.  Handling the controller is a piece of cake.  You won’t always find challenging, fair games on the Nintendo Entertainment System and Heavy Barrel is a great spark of interest.
