Poem- “Bad Numbers”

“Bad Numbers”

You have bad words.

You “know” what those are.

But, you also have bad numbers.

You do not know what those are.

Let me give some information about the subject.

Programmers sometimes use a word like “unlimited” for work.

Words like “unlimited” and “limitless” are bad numbers.

Do not make me change my mind about this.

You know EXACTLY what’s wrong with those words.

“Unlimited” and “limitless” are also body inflation terms.

Maybe a character in a body inflation story will see “beyond the canyon”.

It’s an organized mess, it’s a critical mass.

A hero can still reveal the strings and pull them back.

Keep in mind that innocent cartoons have body inflation and weight gain.

Still, a word like UNLIMITED is a bad number.

You cannot make a good program with bad numbers.

Bad numbers are the cause of bugs and errors.

Maybe a number doesn’t fit.

Maybe a number doesn’t show.

Maybe a number doesn’t “count”.

Maybe a number doesn’t label.

Artists and writers create imaginary sizes.

You can see this in abstract art.

Some professionals have calculation for less exact figure.

But, if a video game programmer is not careful, he can get sucked in.

Just a program is the cause for frustration and pain and suffering.

You use light to create TV.

But what happens when emotions disturb light against feelings?

Poem- “Your Thanksgiving”

“Your Thanksgiving”

I give you water.

You say, “Nostalgia is not enough.”

I give you food.

You say, “Nostalgia is not enough.”

I give you clothes.

You say, “Nostalgia is not enough.”

I give you toys.

You say, “Nostalgia is not enough.”

I give you video games.

You say, “Nostalgia is not enough.”

One day, I had enough of you.

So I took your clothes, toys, and video games.

So I place your clothes, toys, and video games in a garbage bag.

I put all your stuff in a garbage bag.

“You see this?” I say to you.

“I wonder if all this nostalgia should go in the trash!”

You cry.

You weep, you shake all over, and ask for your stuff back.

So I’m about to give your stuff back.

Then you say, “I can always get new stuff.”

I hold back the garbage bag.

“Really?  You think I’m just made of money?”

You say you don’t believe so.

I say to you, “No, you don’t understand.

“Once I throw your stuff away, you’re not getting more.

“You’re my son.  You’re not a bitch who works for nobody.

Are you looking for free gifts?”

You say you are not.

So, as your FATHER, I forgive my son.

Here’s your stuff back.

And, remember!

Nostalgia IS enough!

Videogame Review, Vectron for the Intellivision (w/ Refurbished Console and Brand New Game)

Videogame Review, Vectron for the Intellivision (w/ Refurbished Console and Brand New Game)

Okay.  I believe I know the problem!  Videogames were really old back in the day, and, printed instruction manuals were vital.  An Elvis Presley fan told me, “If it’s not in print, it’s not photography.”  We live in a day where using modern devices is “necessary”.  But this was not an option for Intellivision gamers.  For something like Vectron is vital and even necessary to read the instruction manual before the rise of internet.  Before the rise of internet, Americans needed wake-up calls, free breakfast, pizza orders on phone, you name it.  The Intellivision was a small sale for a reason.  Americans needed TV commercials from K-mart and Sears to know anything about ANYTHING.  Elvis doesn’t sing on this Intellivision game.  But, kids needed to start their mornings with greater knowledge of video games.  Vectron is most definitely a hazard.  By reading the instruction manual I was able to understand the program.  It’s a fantasy in the works.  It’s like “looking at a painting”.  Of course, Vectron is more forgiving than Super Mario 64.  You only get one game; and, just that one game.  I will be fair.  I don’t like everything by Elvis.  And, I don’t like everything on Intellivision.  I do like Greatest Hits.  I do like Vectron.  This is a shooter game that involves means of self-destruction.  Aliens attack.  Objects fly.  But, it was also arresting of the future.  It was also arresting of the future.  In case you’re wondering… no, Power Rangers were not modern.  Power Rangers just look modern.  In reality, my mom Wendy saw Power Rangers growing up.  What she didn’t see was my Intellivision.  My mom just laughed at Pac-Man and didn’t care.  I like to think Pac-Man is real.  But college students like my mom were terrible at video games.  They would laugh, they would burst, and that’s about it.  Vectron would never be a good presentation for my mom Wendy, who had trouble with just HD TV remotes.  I would tell her, “You use this TV remote for cable TV and you use this TV remote for TV.”  My family started to think I was CRAZY!!!  And, the truth is, I am very crazy.  Hell, I even played NES games on a 50-inch TV screen!  You see, I just “know things” out there.  My refurbished Intellivision was played on a smaller TV in my room.  The buttons were very comfortable; however, I was always easy on the dice.  What impacts Vectron are limits on controller and video.  I did reach past 4th level at least.  Perhaps I understand this game too well.  When looking at an abstract painting and believing in “aliens”, I think it’s time to say goodbye to planet Earth.  Oh, and planet Earth sucks at Intellivision.

Videogame Review, Doom for the Atari Jaguar (Brand New Game Years Ago)

Videogame Review, Doom for the Atari Jaguar (Brand New Game Years Ago)

This should’ve been a good game.  But, my brand new game did not work.  It’s a better idea to purchase an already-used copy of Doom instead.  Consider this a waste of time.  At least you can hear my warning and avoid a new copy.  I was shopping for the Atari Jaguar with Best Electronics.  One day my new game was just not working no matter what I did so I called Best Electronics for help.  It turns out that brand new copies of Doom can stop working from a chip malfunction.  The game will work for a while, do things for a while, and then stop.  It was a production flaw.  Atari products were local creations where they were spreading out.  Back then, it was common for there to be production flaws with video tapes, records, books, and more electronics and inventions.  It was somewhat part of the fashion of believing God.  (Only God is perfect.  Man is not.  I can see you and know you’re an idiot.)  Fashion in our world of video games brings us to such case for doubt.  It’s possible that Atari Jaguar games did have some problems with production.  The game should’ve done fine on controls, graphics, sound, and such.  Of course, for a new game to be worthy of respect, it needs to work, obviously.  Now you know!  Wasting my time…

Videogame Review, Galaxian for the Nintendo Entertainment System (w/ NES Max Controller)

Videogame Review, Galaxian for the Nintendo Entertainment System (w/ NES Max Controller)

I have this Japanese NES game on a reproduction cartridge.  The game should’ve been more popular in the United States.  My NES Max controller, which is an antique, works very well for the game.  Actually, the NES version of Galaxian is not as good as the Atari 5200 version of Galaxian- in particular, the NES version of Galaxian is very straight-forward, easy to handle, and challenging within short limits.  The Atari 5200 version of Galaxian (on the other hand) was more complicated, interesting, and alien to the touch.  In all fairness due, the NES version of Galaxian is more or less like the arcade machine.  That’s a problem!  In all honesty, while I do enjoy the arcade machine of Galaxian very much, the Atari 5200 version of Galaxian does a better presentation of fighting aliens, hungry heroes, and good fire methods.  For one thing we must remember that the Atari 5200 version of Galaxian has a variety of difficulty modes.  The NES version, for the Galaxian game I’m reviewing (at least from the start) doesn’t have as much of a variety of difficulty modes.  You basically get 1 normal difficulty mode with slight variations of challenge.  I do believe the NES version is better for beginners.  I’m just a hardcore gamer.  You still get shooter games today with modern technology like Call of Duty and Halo; however, Galaxian has more attitude on a quick notion of time and space and that’s important for fighting aliens under classic video and traditional graphics.  Recently, I’ve taken a vacation to places near the American west part of our nation such as Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Nevada, Utah, and remote eastern parts of California.  From having exposure to more states in the American West, I agree with older gamers of classic video games that internet connection is a little off depending on the area or land you’re living in, and, America does not have a universal reality of modern technology.  This is because internet connection is still missing in so many parts of America.  America does not have internet everywhere.  Or, if there’s “internet”, it’s slow and tedious.  I was in big cities in Wyoming with poor internet connection.  Not just on my phone, but just for any computer or machine or device that uses internet.  I’m happy to report that Galaxian for the Nintendo Entertainment System (or, NES) is a physical copy when you get one and you get a steady connection with a functional Nintendo Entertainment System video game console.  We still often need machines and robots with ready-to-use functions.  Internet connection is only useful if there IS internet.  I mention that for a reason.  Internet is a very challenging system of data.  We don’t always know exactly what the links are; or, if there are links, the chain remains.  Data does have its moments.  In 1 of the American states (I forget if it’s Colorado or Wyoming or such) there were arcade businesses for video games; in particular, arcade business still exists for old video games.  1 arcade business in 1 of these American states that I saw was not only advertising Pac-Man (who is still popular in modern technology), but, also, the arcade business was advertising Moon Patrol.  Pac-Man and Moon Patrol were being advertised by the arcade business in an American state with window paint and window shopping on the front view of the building.  Very interesting, huh?  In California, modern gamers don’t know Moon Patrol.  At times, a word like “modern” is an interesting choice of words for ignorance of the past.  So many Californians still enjoy the idea of going to the moon.  Galaxian for the Nintendo Entertainment System was a result of limited natural resources.  And, limited natural resources are the reason for America’s unreliable internet connection.  On a grand scale of things, America is still “old”.

Poem- “Your Brain”

“Your Brain”

Look in the mirror.

We see your face.

However, can anybody see your brain?

You think with your brain, not with your face.

That’s why fashion and dress often get unreliable.

People look in the mirror.

They see their illusions of body and head.

But, you can’t see a brain in the mirror.

Your brain is really hidden from view.

Understanding your brain means habit and quality of knowledge.

As they say:

“Knowledge is not magic.”

Videogame Review, Pokemon Yellow Version for the Game Boy Color (w/ Nintendo 2DS)

Videogame Review, Pokemon Yellow Version for the Game Boy Color (w/ Nintendo 2DS)

Something was happening with all this “color”.  Children were really getting into views, for wonder and oddity.  A Pokemon game is about battling monsters.  In a way (if you think about it) Pokemon fans really want to beat up Pikachu and thus “yellow” comes along.  The color yellow can mean so many things; in fact, from a historical perspective, I think the color yellow means too many things.  Don’t believe me?  Okay.  Think of all the yellow you’ve ever seen in video games.  At best, yellow is chaotic; at worst, yellow is meaningless.  A historian like me has the original misfortune of being grave.  Most historians are very grave.  On one hand, you get the fashionista who jumps for joy on every occasion; on the other hand, you get the historian who sinks in rage until magic disappears from examining attitude.  Pokemon Yellow used to be the best technology for Pokemon.  Is that true today?  No, of course not.  Many young players of video games would hear me out about Pokemon Yellow and think I’m mean.  Why?  Because Pokemon Yellow is old.  We’ve seen some great improvements in Pokemon over the years.  Now, even giving reference to Pokemon Yellow can seem like a bad joke to modern snobs.  They may start thinking, “Oh, it’s just some old game from the past.  Nobody plays this stuff anymore.”  Of course, they’re wrong.  My Nintendo 2DS is a pretty recent device of modern technology.  It’s just the Game Boy Color game that’s questionable.  Is the game worth playing?  Well, it depends on how you want to look at it.  It’s “old” glitter at this point in history.  You definitely don’t want to play Pokemon Yellow if you’ve already played Pokemon Red or Pokemon Blue.  (There!  That saves some people about 50 hours.)  Pokemon Yellow used to be the best technology for Pokemon industry.  Now, at this point in history, Pokemon Yellow generally just serves a purpose.  The vanity, craft, and extremes of Pokemon Yellow have changed or even, just even, have disappeared.  Pokemon Yellow wasn’t homework.  Sure, Pokemon Yellow did seem like “homework” to a lot of children in my childhood.  That’s a rotten tomato.  What Pokemon Yellow did accomplish was completely optional.  Kids didn’t really need Pokemon Yellow.  They just really, really wanted it very, very badly.  At least the game is long.  But, since it’s a long game, and, since it’s an old game, most players probably won’t be that interested.  I understand.  How could a modern Pokemon fan look at Pokemon Yellow, play Pokemon Yellow, and “enjoy it” at all?  Enjoyment for Pokemon Yellow today is often post-Gameboy.  Back in my day, this was the real deal!  There wasn’t much else out there at Target and other video game stores.  Right now, I remember Father’s Day and Nintendo 64 video game console sales.  When did those N64 sales happen?  I don’t know.  That’s a myth now!  It’s like a rumor about pointless popcorn and dirty soda.  Pokemon Yellow does have good gameplay.  The potions work as they should.  Somebody else might have a different experience with the Nintendo 2DS.  It’s a Gameboy Color game on a Nintendo 2DS portable.  I’m not a coward.  That is, I’m not “yellow”.  But yellow can be nice.

Poem- “False Idea”

“False Idea”

My brain does not exist until I see my brain.

If I do not see my brain, my brain does not exist.

A brain does not exist unless I see it.

I can see somebody else’s brain.

But, I can’t see my own brain.

This is why I can’t be a witness of myself.

My brain will be invisible to me forever.

I am blind for such individualism.

The brain I use is a contradiction in terms.

Yes, I must see it.

But I never will.

Videogame Review, Wild Gunman for the Nintendo Entertainment System (w/ Brand New Retrozapper)

Videogame Review, Wild Gunman for the Nintendo Entertainment System (w/ Brand New Retrozapper)

I have my limits with this review.  A review can be a source; however, a review can’t be a subject.  The reviewer can go under the subject, but the reviewer can’t go over the subject.  When you’re reading, understanding a subject is often passive.  Readers are usually not reactive and generally don’t generate their own signals unless the world falls down.  Wild Gunman is not one of those NES games which work well with the Retrozapper.  It works better; but, it doesn’t work well.  At this point in my personal history, it appears that almost all of the previous, vintage technology for the Nintendo Entertainment System in terms of the light gun controllers has disappeared and faded into obscurity.  Videogame reviews are more comprehensive once you’re “taking a bite” and have real experience of gameplay.  Old TV sets are particular to vague, obscure colors of display and video.  I do see some cactus plants in the game that look promising of a western style.  Of course, good sense helps make fantasy reasonable.  Good sense isn’t really there with the Retrozapper for Wild Gunman.  Game B works better but still doesn’t quite get fair AND progressive.  A game doesn’t really have to be that fair.  But, we should be progressive on consistent mechanics.  It’s difficult to describe the source of images because the images during gameplay suggest a missing source with my new light gun controller.  This video game review is hard to perform with details.  As such, my reviews for NES games often take more time to do than actually playing NES games.  For most every day I sit on a chair in the living room and make mistakes with ideas by talking to myself.  Then, I correct my own speech and go into good reviewing method for accuracy and factual evidence.  Most video game reviewers are not poets.  In fact, most people are not poets.  This is where it gets interesting.  A poet is a professional who gives a vivid, alluring description of sights to remember and forget over drama and, perhaps, theater.  I am very qualified to talk about sight.  Sight includes vision, eyes, head, view, looking, study, lens, and observation for the glance.  I can tell readers what I see.  But what happens in the world of poetry is that blind people can start attacking me with pointless arguments and dispute because they’re blind people and can’t see a damn thing.  Truth becomes mysterious and strange due to blindness and fighting.  Liars are usually very concerned about the truth and wish to tell the truth.  Wishing for truth doesn’t always exactly make it happen.  You’re probably reading this review with a wish for good games.  If that’s the case, I can’t accept you as you are and I must declare questionable attitude over my own wits of knowledge.  Wit can be very original for a reviewer’s mind of hazards if there’s enough logic and awareness.  My review is a source.  Game C still doesn’t work very well although it does work better.  Game A appears to always work no matter what gun I use.  The shooter game is a bug and error.  It seems that the game contains less data management for specifics and more fantasy for dismissing.  Wild Gunman is a game from the past.  It’s an old game.  So, if I have the best NES controller for Wild Gunman and if there’s no better controller in our current state of NES industry, I’m only wanted “dead” for the challenge.  (Ironically, wearing a cowboy hat would only make me do worse for the game.)

Poem- “Original Truth”

“Original Truth”

Confirm the history.

Do not create an endless supply of new ideas.

That’s dishonest.

You must review some old ideas and have proper grades for them.

A teacher in school performs these corrections.

She looks at “old” homework and marks it to examination of good judgement.

Do you support education?

Well, education is more reality and less fiction.

My daddy used to say:

“The most important subjects are English and Math.”

I know what he means.

You must learn words and numbers, before reaching other subjects.

A philosopher who works on language and calculation first will be true.

Videogame Review, Final Fantasy VII Remake for the Playstation 4 (PS4)

Videogame Review, Final Fantasy VII Remake for the Playstation 4 (PS4)

It’s a cliche with the fault of management error.  When I use 2 potions, only 1 potion works, or, 2 potions work, at times.  Attacking enemies is a struggle for partial images of combat.  By fighting enemies, I expect to “see” the enemies.  But I don’t really “see” the enemies as I should.  This is a Final Fantasy game that’s bad for beginners.  From this point in my review I should tell you that I’m mostly a newcomer and don’t understand exactly where this game is going.  You get dramatic effects; however, you’re probably imagining more than what the game really gives to you.  It’s difficult to tell if this PS4 game is a retro treatment or a modern interpretation.  You’ll see in the options menu some choices of gameplay.  It can be easy or it can be hard.  What I’m really interested in is getting to know what on Earth the characters are talking about.  The PS4 game does stand as a unique point in the Final Fantasy series.  That can be a problem!  Characters from time to time will burst out orders with language I don’t speak.  If I don’t speak the language, I can’t exactly use the force of knowledge and wisdom in combat.  The game’s descriptions of a “hero” are vague.  We’re dealing with characters who have flaws of personality.  Maybe, for the game, the programmers go through emotional problems of their own.  This is likely to be the case.  Once again, the PS4 controller does have specifics that don’t go well with support and item management.  Most video game reviewers for this PS4 game have the same problems even if they use vocabulary to look nerdy and original.  Some reviewers don’t talk about the graphics and just focus on gameplay.  That’s a mistake.  For the matter of speaking about it, the graphics make an impact on gameplay and enemies don’t really have the “looks” of damage and conflict.  My PS4 video game console does provide me with high definition video.  However, from the high definition video, I still have problems of collision detection and my shots often reveal mysterious visuals that don’t amount to physical activity under the game’s vision of fantasy.  Let’s say my character uses a weapon.  From whatever character I may choose, I do get a weapon and some variety of attack options.  But my character’s weapon is missing conditions and weather on many important moments of fighting.  The best video for the PS4 game is usually the movie scenes; once you get into battle, the grounds shake with uneven qualities.  It’s like a pizza with 3 pizza slices with missing toppings or few pizza toppings.  A battle in the Final Fantasy game can look like an order from Pizza Hut.  Keep in mind that I love Pizza Hut and I see no reason to ignore the Final Fantasy game.  In fact, at times, when I want to pay attention, and, when I need to pay attention, there’s little to no video for particular effects.  I’ve played many PS4 games on my PS4 console that are small projects, or, “unpopular” games and the unpopular games do a much, much better job at depth and graphics.  Final Fantasy VII Remake is a big hole and I’m not sure why gamers have been jumping into the hole for years.  Okay, so it’s a long game.  Big deal!  I can sleep every day of the week.  But it’s a fighting game with drama and theater.  Some characters are rough; some characters are dull.  Like I’ve said, it’s a cliche.  Players need more than fashion for a game’s quality performance where I’m not seeing it.  A potion needs to work when I need it.  Or else, I’m just going to let this one slide.

Poem- “Sonic’s Voice”

“Sonic’s Voice”

The voice actor is not a blue hedgehog.

Sonic’s voice is an illusion due to false imagery of source.

It’s really just some human recording his voice for TV.

You watch TV and “imagine” Sonic the Hedgehog.

And, the voice actor is NOT a blue hedgehog.

He’s a slow, weak, normal human being who doesn’t have blue skin.

The voice actor is not a blue hedgehog.

He is a human being, not a blue hedgehog.

And, in fiction and fantasy, Sonic the Hedgehog is “not” a human being.

Sonic is electricity for amusement.

It’s just TV.

There is no Sonic.

Fans of Sonic the Hedgehog don’t give the voice actor as much credit.

They give more credit to Sonic, and, they give less credit to the voice actor.

How does this feedback help Earth’s humanity?

Soon, Earth’s humanity loses confidence, respect, and personality for themselves.

A guy from Earth’s humanity will even believe that he or she is “selfless”.

Why?

Because they give Sonic the Hedgehog credit and ignore the voice actor.

As such, humans deny who they are since fiction makes them wish.

There’s a problem with wishing.

Wishing can soon turn into a vice.

Not to mention, Sonic the Hedgehog saves the planet Earth.

The blue hedgehog isn’t exactly running for your amusement.

At least, according to fiction and fantasy, he saves Earth from destruction.

But Sonic fans usually ignore the voice actor!

When Sonic fans ignore the voice actor, they also ignore themselves.

They become selfless, insignificant, and pointless for entertainment.

I don’t think this always helps artists.

As fiction seems more like nothing, the artists can quit and disappear.

I see this all the time on Deviant Art.

You also see it in our history.

So many artists quit and disappear because they can’t handle their fiction.

They can get angry, upset, vulgar, rough, emotional, lustful, and self-defeating.

Fiction eventually becomes the source of self-destruction for the human flesh.

I tell the truth in my poetry so I can continue to keep my own confidence.

Excessive lies would only make me want to quit my job.

When artists make too many lies, they eventually quit and “go home”.

There’s no home without old ideas.

Sonic the Hedgehog is an old idea.

But, Sonic the Hedgehog is an old idea that “was” a new idea.

Old ideas are usually new ideas from the past.

“New” and “old” appear to be labels under Sonic the Hedgehog.

Do you make clocks?

For most people, I don’t think you make clocks.

Videogame Review, Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville for the Playstation 4 (PS4)

Videogame Review, Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville for the Playstation 4 (PS4)

It’s a sloppy game.  The action doesn’t have much contact with support and weapon management is hard to see.  We do get insane art; however, your mentality for the game only holds on pause and effect with severity to gross defense.  Unlike so many games in the history of video games, this PS4 “classic” lacks heroes and villains, entirely.  A whole program like this behaves as distractions into each lazy mess of fighting.  It’s not unusual to see a bomb go off without getting any damage to you or your support.  Even for support, I keep planting flowers and plants while getting no gardening information for specific segments of combat.  Dodging enemies is a hazard due to limited PS4 controls.  At times, I sense that I “might” be doing something when the program is just bursting in color for less rational difficulty.  Fans of Plants vs. Zombies are lucky to even have a brain, even before they get a mind (which they never do).  You do get some impressive-looking characters in art form.  But, with such a short story that I don’t begin with and a general lack of menu for concision, there’s just so many tastes and colors that I believe, when gamers are good for Plants vs. Zombies, it’s a pretty accident.  Maps in the game do spread out with uneven qualities.  What happens is, I keep looking at all the pretty colors and shapes for long periods of time when I’m more interested in keeping focus.  It’s impossible for a gamer to keep focus if there’s mindless struggle.  How do you even accept a challenge with no mind?  Many weapons have awful light of appearance that hurts damage for negative health within reach of chaos.  You’ll have to get unknown causes of destruction from time to time.  This isn’t surprising.  New ideas are usually false.  That’s because ALL ideas are usually false.  A “lie” is usually a new idea.  At least Plants vs. Zombies is a source of creativity and not a source of politics.  Please forgive me if I seem a bit rude.  The fantasy is a greater expansion of attitude that’s hopeless for real improvement.  You can see the faults and errors of status that can uphold fiction on fewer direct touches.  Fashion in the video game world is not everlasting.  You know this.  Humans live for a time and then die.  Plants vs. Zombies is a series for fooling under extended eyes of secret sauce and glitter.  Planting “my army” doesn’t do much good when I have little to no command.  In particular, parts of the PS4 game feel like I need another controller for 1 Player; as in, Player 1 should use two controllers instead of one.  We know this because the Playstation 4 video game console has lots of available controllers with specifics of control and function.  It’s not just about Plants vs. Zombies.  We must consider the PS4 controller and ask ourselves, “Is this PS4 controller enough for the game?”  I think the answer should be in the negative.  Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is so outrageous that I begin to wonder if Player 1 alone needs 3 or 4 TVs!  The game offers high definition video; however, every gamer, every player only has 2 eyes and all the graphics don’t exactly amount for widescreen vision, but visual suggestions of absence in objects and materials.  I did have fun with the game.  But, I can’t have good logic without the right means of attack and defense.  Some enemies are totally impossible unless you’re at a very high level, and, you die again and again with a false hope of return to battle, because, you’re never coming into battle, but going “under” battle.  The game’s fantasy is just too big to put in a gamer’s bag.

Poem- “Impact”

Videogame Review, WWF Wrestlemania Steel Cage Challenge for the Nintendo Entertainment System (w/ Brand New NES Max Controller)

Videogame Review, WWF Wrestlemania Steel Cage Challenge for the Nintendo Entertainment System (w/ Brand New NES Max Controller)

The NES Max pretty much does all the work for me and I make no effort.  I know, that’s bad!  We’re dealing with an old-fashioned wrestling game that demands patience with repetitive button-pushing action.  From having the NES Max, I just go to a wrestler, hold turbo buttons, and wait until I win.  Climbing out of the steel cage is totally unnecessary because I can just fight opponents and pin them in the ring.  Most of the wrestling themes are very good (especially Undertaker’s!); however, a couple wrestling themes, or entrance theme songs, behave like bugs and errors.  One song in particular sounds like my Nintendo Entertainment System is going out of order.  By today’s standards, this NES wrestling game is practically out of order.  Why do the fighters often switch positions without any animation or movement?  That’s confusing!  Some graphics are decent; some graphics are rough around the edges.  The wrestlers in particular don’t have much distinction from each other.  Tag Team mode is hopeless; I have no idea what the wrestlers are really doing in a tag team match.  (WWF is now WWE or World Wrestling Entertainment due to changes in ownership rights over the years.  I’m putting up the original name of the video game in my review, because, mixing up old labels with new labels in constant motion of educational learning would get confusing for the reader very fast.)  This wrestling game is a button masher; once you put in turbo fire, almost all of the challenge disappears from sight, leaving me with an awkward feeling of underachievement.  Sure, I can use the original NES controller.  That would make it a little more challenging for the novice player but not for everybody else.  Hulk Hogan does something; Bret Hart does something; Undertaker does something; more wrestlers do something, etc.  The wrestlers just do something.  We don’t get a real finishing touch of combat.  Hulk Hogan kicks; Bret Hart kicks; Undertaker kicks- and, that’s all there is to it.  I call this a vanity affair.  I’m so happy that wrestling games from the modern technology we have today are way, way better!  Playing this “old” game makes me appreciate even the “bad” modern games of wrestling.  I know.  You’re going to say, “Hey, you cheated!”  Well, hey!  It’s not my fault!  What do you expect from maximum control?  Just NES Max with no NES Max?  Of course, I don’t really consider this “maximum control” whatsoever.  The turbo fire buttons do function very fast.  But, at the cost of overcompensation for whatever fighter I choose, the other fighters don’t stand a chance against me.  Making matters more interesting for the worst, my opponents get so confident in kicking and punching in the air and missing me on purpose with complete, total numbness of attitude.  You might say the game’s “attitude” is perfectly useless and automated.  What this game is missing is depth and construction.  Instead, I get confusion and mishandling of gameplay.  I know.  You’re going to say, “Dude, it’s an old game!  Forget about it!”  I understand your frustration.  But, don’t you think an “old” game should be good for WWE’s focus on strength and energy?  Why can’t we look at old video games and be PROUD of our past, history, and vintage experience?  WWF Wrestlemania Steel Cage Challenge was designed for nostalgia alone and just for partial turbo of conflict.  It’s a sweet game!  But, I don’t think a word like “sweet” is what WWE usually looks for.  Can I kiss Undertaker now?  EVERYBODY LAUGH!  Ha, ha, HA HA, ha ha!
