“Pokemon and Reality”

You travel the world, talk to strangers, and beat up little monsters.

Is this possible in real life?

Well, no!

You cannot “walk” all over the world.

You cannot go into people’s homes and “talk” to strangers.

You cannot “stuff” a monster in your pocket.

Pokemon is possible for a video game.

But, not for reality and nature.

Let’s think about this.

Let’s think about this carefully.

Can a kid WALK ALL OVER THE WORLD?!!!

Can a kid raise vicious monsters and survive?

Can a kid enter people’s homes and have conversations?

This only makes sense for Pokemon.

Reality is different.

It’s not a small world.

People “talk” without data and subtitles.

Wild animals cannot just become un-wild.

You can’t stuff a tiger into a ball.

Markets and stores are not “movie friendly” or anything like that.

Language is minimal and dull in most places on Earth.

You can break a leg from riding a bicycle.

God does not play music for the wilderness.

Pokemon is fun, exciting, and creative gameplay on TV.

Earth is slow, exhausting, and prohibitive time on nature.
