Poem- “Judgement and Comment”

“Judgement and Comment”

Usually, people believe positive ideas are obvious.

Usually, people believe negative ideas are obvious.

Is that so?

Well, it depends.

A critic will probably eat poor food and say,

“This food does not taste very good and I do not enjoy it.”

Usually, people will think this critic’s idea is negative.

No, it’s not.

This is not a negative idea.

He is eating “poor” food.

And, he does not enjoy it.

This quote is logical, honest, and correct.

So, what’s really a negative idea?

A negative idea would be like this example:

A polite fan eats poor food, pretends to care, and shouts,

“This is the most delicious thing I’ve ever tasted!”

Is that polite fan’s idea positive?

No, it’s not.

The food is still not very good to eat.

It’s still “poor” food.

Maybe it’s exactly the same food.

But, the polite fan leans on irrational desire and fabricates praise about it.

The quote only sounds positive.

If the critic eats the poor food and already knows about it, he doubts the fan.

Maybe the polite fan was just trying to help.

Maybe the polite fan was just afraid of hurting somebody’s feelings.

Maybe the polite fan was just keeping himself safe from a grumpy cook.

Who knows?

Ideas get tricky.

Positive should be “up” and negative should be “down”.

But, nature is very massive and reality is too complicated.

You can pick food “up” and you can put food “down” and such.

Judgement will often be more than what meets the eye.

Oh, and, “good” does not mean “up” and “poor” does not mean “down”.

Every restaurant critic knows that.

Videogame Review, Mortal Shell for the Playstation 4 (PS4 Game)

I am an original “Mortal” Kombat fan. This PS4 game is bad. You can’t fool me.

Gaming Console Review, Playstation Plus Essential (PS Plus Essential, Playstation 4)

Gaming Console Review, Playstation Plus Essential (PS Plus Essential, Playstation 4)

PS Plus Essential sounds nice, right? Well, let me tell you something. It’s not a library. You should know what a library is already. The library allows readers of books to access the past for free. As long as you’re responsible, you can read old books for free. No money, no charge. Does the PS Plus Essential program have anything like a “library” does? No. No, of course not. The PS Plus Essential program is not a library for PS Plus games from the past. You will probably not be able to remember what PS Plus games were available in the past. There’s no way you can research it on the internet. And, even if you find out what “old” PS Plus games were, you may not be able to pick the games up. Old games on the Playstation 4 gaming console are easier to access when you already “have” them. If you do not already “have” the games, you may have to pay full price for them. Or, even worse, the “old” games will probably be gone from the Playstation Store and you may never be able to buy them. Games can go off the market. PS Plus Essential is not a library. Sony was giving me the illusion that I could buy hundreds of games with PS Plus. Well, I still have to figure that out. PS Plus Essential can only give me about 36 free games A YEAR. You should know that “36 games” is not “hundreds of games” and so on. Games can get expensive. With modern technology, the greatest chance for “free games” is the library of Atari games, or the library of Super Nintendo games, or the library of Sega Genesis games, or the library of Commodore 64 games, and so on. Only the “real” old games will be cheap or free. PS Plus Essential is not like that. PS Plus Essential, with my Playstation 4 experience, was giving me modern games for free; and, each month, I could really only get 3 new games. Just 3 new games. Nothing else. PS Plus Essential was most useful for online membership. Beyond online membership, the “choice” gets bare and irrelevant. For 6 months, I was getting games I wanted. For the other 6 months, I was not getting ANY games I wanted. Sure, I could download “undesirable” games for free, but that would be stupid. Sony should’ve given gamers and players “credits” for their PS Plus Essential membership instead and just let PS Plus Essential members use “credits” for games they wanted. (That would’ve made a lot more sense!) But, Sony did not give credits like that. Sony would “choose” a game FOR YOU. If you play the game and enjoy the game, it’s your choice. If you do not want the game and do not enjoy the game, it’s NOT your choice. It was really always SONY’S choice. My bold words can help readers understand my language with this emphasis on capital letters. At least, I can consider PS Plus Essential as a gaming console. A “gaming console” will offer just so many games. If you need a “library” of PS Plus games, never buy Essential! Get the bigger PS Plus programs. You need to pay more money for the bigger PS Plus programs. But, with my poor experience of Sony’s “Essential” program, I think I’m going to increase my foundation for the future of gaming and playing. What’s the moral to it? The moral is this:

When video game companies believe they are “essential”, they actually need to improve their essentials to greater quality and greater power. Or else, they will only have the way they need.

Poem- “Unlimited Reading and Fun”

“Unlimited Reading and Fun”

There is education.

There is unlimited reading.

But, education is not unlimited reading.

It’s really “limited” reading.

For a class in school, maybe I was just reading 2 or 3 books for 5 months.

Just 2 or 3 books for a class in school.

2 or 3 books.

Or, maybe 4 books if I was lucky.

That’s limited.

That’s not unlimited.

People do have unlimited reading for entertainment and fashion.

However, when people do unlimited reading, they usually don’t give reports.

Book reports are often homework in schools for education.

Of course, for unlimited reading, people usually don’t give book reports.

They probably just enjoy fiction and fantasy with ignorance.

Did you graduate from school?

Well, if you did, you were only getting a “degree” for learning.

A “degree” is not unlimited reading.

You were just taking a specific plan for goals and certification.

It’s a degree.

But, it’s not “unlimited” reading.

We can do unlimited reading for pleasure, imagination, and wonder.

But, for education and learning, we observe more care for discipline.

Unlimited reading is not really a discipline.

Examination, analysis, and organization are very difficult to prove.

Anybody can do unlimited reading; it’s not that important.

The fiction and fantasy can put a smile on your face.

Keep in mind that school graduation is not just done by smiling.

Smiling is nice; we love smiles.

But, for education, you really need a grade, not just a smile.

Poem- “Random Letters”

“Random Letters”

Dramatic Reading is necessary for Elementary Poetry.

My schools said I could be a jackrabbit, a lion, and a dog.

Why do some people have perfect attendance for rare subjects?

My past is now somewhat full of dated honor.

Alphabet soup is junk food.

Do not use it for grammar.

Retro computers existed back then and spelling check was more psychological.

The Apple 2 computer was available to us in a science class for middle school.

I sound “old” but I’m only 36 years old.

Wordbooks are more valuable than most fiction, but wordbooks are boring.

Do you remember the office summons?

Imagine the Wrestling Car Wash near Minimum Days.

I was usually going to school in Ventura, California.

Here’s my vintage science language from an elementary class:

“When the clay was curvcd it flouted yayollw and it sank because it was fooll of water.”

Oscar’s Ocean was certainly a place I’ve forgotten about for a field trip.

Improvement in science has a limit.

This teacher’s report was correct grammar for the 1990s:

“Alex is quiet, but is looses attention continuously.”

My lazy family eyeball’d the teacher’s report and we became flexible for discussion.

Procrastination is like this example:

There’s a letter for a very important person, but the envelope contains nothing.

If my reading skills are excellent, why do I need to pay “more” attention?

Excellence was already the best grade ever possible; nothing was higher.

These warriors just need to go to McDonald’s. Does anybody have a Happy Meal?!

Oh, wait… McDonald’s serves junk food. Is this “happy” food really happy?

Happy people still need evidence for me to believe their emotions. Judge the movie.

Poem- “Satisfaction and Budgeting”

“Satisfaction and Budgeting”

Restaurants want to know if customers believe their food is delicious.

However, grocery stores do not really want to know.

Let’s say, you eat at a restaurant.

A waiter comes by the table and asks you,

“Do you enjoy your food?”

Restaurants ask questions like that to observe your satisfaction.

Grocery stores do not ask questions like that.

Grocery stores do not ask about your taste, value, enjoyment, and so on.

A grocery store will post a TV commercial that says,

“We always sell food at low prices and give the best discounts.”

Well, that TV commercial does represent economics for budgeting.

But, that TV commercial does not represent “art” for taste and personality.

A restaurant business would receive opinions for taste and flavor.

Restaurants want their customers to have satisfaction with delicious food.

Do grocery stores care in the same, exact way that restaurants do?

I do not think so.

A restaurant worker asks me questions like these below:

“How is the taste?”

“How is the flavor?”

“How is the texture?”

“How is the value?”
“How is the temperature?”

“How is the satisfaction?”

“How is the recommendation?”

“How is the family?”

“How is the friendly worker?”

“How is the sandwich?”

“How are the fries?”

“How likely do you tell a friend?”

“How likely do you tell your family?”

Grocery stores do not really ask questions like that.

Instead, grocery stores ask questions like these below:

“Did you find what you were looking for?”

“Did you find the item in stock?”

“Was the store clean?”
“Was the store organized?”

“Did you receive a discount?”

“Do you find the same item at another store for a lower price?”

“Did you get enough for the price?”

“Was the food affordable?”

“Did your shopping list work for your budget?”

“Did you get a shopping cart?”

“Did someone help you?”

“Was the meat department in order?”

“How many stars will you give us?”

These questions, once again, represent economics.

But, these questions do not represent art, taste, and personality.

Basically, restaurants say,

“You will be a very happy customer and visit us again soon.”

But, grocery stores just say,

“We sell groceries for low prices and give discounts on produce.”

For this reason, I love restaurant experience more than grocery experience.

Restaurants really want to know what my taste is like.

On the other hand, grocery stores usually just say something dull like,

“Buy chicken for $2.14 a pound and present a coupon to the register.”

It’s economics.

But, it’s not personality.

Happiness is personality.

Budgeting is just economics.

Poem- “Object and Choice”

“Object and Choice”

A reviewer will say,

“I will describe the object I have and make it a choice.”

This quote does not always work for a reviewer.

Does he even need the object for a choice?

Is that “object” really a choice for him?

From my experience, he probably needs to manage the object into a good.

Or, if he cannot manage the object into a good, he needs to live without it:

No touching, no commenting, no looking, no recording, no visiting.

Just leave it alone.

Do not even use it.

And, maybe, get it out of here and prevent our notice in the audience.

Or else, a reviewer will be describing every object and lose his choice.

Poem- “Death and the Future of Literature”

“Death and the Future of Literature”

Authors will pass away when they’re old enough to go on.

They will die.

But, their literature will be permanent records for all eternity.

Let’s talk about something important.

Let’s create science fiction for ourselves about dead authors.

Authors from the past are often gone into the afterlife.

They are not living here with modern people from today.

Modern people remember the past with so much confusion.

Readers will probably think their dead authors are still living.

Of course, this is not possible.

The dead authors are gone.

Let’s create science fiction about this idea.

Let’s say this:

Let’s say, we bring a dead author back to life.

We bring a dead author back to life.

We can even call him Frankenstein.

The dead author comes back to life after death from so long ago.

We bring him back to life.

And, we tell him the truth about modern society.

We give him general information on the truth of the day.

We give him modern evidence.

We give him modern truth.

We give him modern facts.

We give him modern information.

We give him modern education.

We give him modern living.

How would the dead author respond to us?

Maybe the dead author would be so proud for his past.

He would probably be in good standing with modern evidence.

He would even perhaps get increasing confidence and increasing wisdom.

Maybe, if you think about it, the dead author would have no regrets.

He would have no regrets about his official literature.

OR…

Maybe the dead author would feel so stupid.

Maybe he would regret what he said.

Maybe he would apologize to you.

Maybe he would apologize to all of us.

He would start getting dramatic and hopeless.

He would feel like such a fool.

He would even call himself an idiot.

He would probably get so sad.

He would probably get angry with himself.

He would soon realize his literature was faulty and unreliable.

He would feel so terrible about his literature.

He would probably apologize to you, over, and over, and over, and over.

He would start crying, or start weeping, or start getting depression.

He would really feel guilty about his authorship.

Maybe, just maybe, he would CHANGE HIS MIND.

He would throw his old book away and go to a hospital with a foul sickness.

He would be a modern citizen and feel his offensive experience of memory.

This science fiction is a metaphor about the possibility.

I do fear it.

I fear it a lot.

Why do young readers believe in “new” books so much?

Why do young readers believe in “modern” books so much?

Reality changes.

Reality happens.

Reality impacts truth and justice.

Our knowledge will be temporary after the moment.

History can be like an expired coupon.

Do you accept expired coupons?

Do you accept obsolete materials?

Do you accept forgotten homework from your past?

We need to be careful with old books.

We should be careful with new books as well.

Ideas are very tricky.

My great grandparents were probably right or probably wrong.

Books will be traps for careless readers.

The words get so surprising and shocking.

We just need to remember what death means for authors and readers.

Fast Food Journal, April 6th of Year 2023

Fast Food Journal, April 6th of Year 2023

Let me give my readers an update about my dieting. I eat at home most of the time. But, sometimes, I go out to eat at a restaurant. Fast food restaurants come to mind.

So, as an experiment, today was my day of treating myself to “healthy” food at fast food restaurants. Or, if the food is not healthy, the food is at least more reasonable for a treat. Small treats are more reasonable than big treats. A small little cheeseburger at McDonald’s a week does not impact my health very much at all. I spend normal, common days eating healthy food at home. I also exercise 12 hours a week from walking and home activities.

But, for this experiment today, that I call “Treat Day”, I was spending my day with fast food. I got “healthy” food to eat, or, at least reasonable food to eat. I did not eat anything else. And, I had water and unsweetened tea.

The results are interesting.

For today, I visited McDonald’s for breakfast, Panda Express for lunch, and Subway for dinner. Results follow below:

  • I have enough grams of fat and I have enough grams of protein.
  • I only have 50% of the carbs I need.
  • I have 200% of the salt I need.
  • Fiber is fair and modest.
  • Cholesterol remains under the weekly balance limit.

So, what does this mean? It means this:

Fast food can supply enough protein and enough fat. But, I only get “half” of the carbs I need and the salt is twice as much over the normal balance.

My opinion does not change the nutrition facts. Honestly, my food was delicious, but I will be eating at home for another week or so before going out to a restaurant again.

Poem- “Journalists and Poets”

“Journalists and Poets”

Oh, journalists.

So much to do and so little time.

Common vocabulary, and, obvious emotions.

Do they know where I am?

A poet like me is dramatic and romantic.

News reporters will read my literature backwards and confuse it on reverse.

How social, how fashionable, how delightful, how sweet, how joyful!

I will need to repair their vision with extensive declaration.

My text remains in print from left to right.

Page 1 to Page 2; Page 2 to Page 3; Page 3 to Page 4, and so on.

This poem is not the first number.

We will never know what my last output will be.

Grammar may vary by subject.

Free verse goes on.

People should not be getting so many reports.

Common sense is automatic most of the time.

Keep it coming and their information becomes permanent exchange.

Readers will need to update goals.

Of course, journalists are lower historians.

Their pencils are not strong and their paper is not firm.

Conversation is busy.

But, everybody makes mistakes and ongoing problem solving is vain.

My poetry is not that repetitive for this reason.

Journalism is the opposite of poetry.

Normal reporters will write their journals quickly without much thought.

I can’t do that for poetry.

When I write my words, I also “draw” my words around the lines.

When I say my words, I also “taste” my words around the sounds.

Journalists are always immediate and instant.

Poets are slow to glowing express.

April Fools’ Day Videogame Review, Bayonetta Kicks the Bucket for the Sega Bluejay Gaming Console

April Fools’ Day Videogame Review, Bayonetta Kicks the Bucket for the Sega Bluejay Gaming Console

She just kicks a bucket inside Walmart. So what? No, I’m joking. She’s dead.

Now, sing:

“Ding-dong, the witch is dead! Which old witch? The wicked witch.

Ding-dong, the wicked witch is dead!

Wake up, you sleepy head, rub your eyes, get out of bed.

Wake up, the wicked witch is dead!

She’s gone where the goblins go below, below, below, yo ho.

Let’s open up and sing, and ring the bells out.

Ding-dong, the merry-o! Sing it high, sing it low.

Let them know the wicked witch is dead!”

Do you believe me? April Fool! The game doesn’t exist. Is the classic song still the same?
