“Habit and Record”

You can get a habit.

You can get a record.

But, without a record, it’s difficult to prove habit, maybe impossible.

For example, observe the high school degree you probably have.

You graduated from high school.

It’s your record.

It’s not just a long past.

A business may require workers to graduate from high school first.

A high school degree is a requirement for so many businesses.

For a business like that, you need a high school degree to work there.

You cannot just walk into the business and say,

“Well, I do not have a high school degree, but I read a lot of books!”

This quote would never work out for the business and you.

They need a worker with a high school degree, not a reading hobby.

You do not likely have any record for your own private reading hobby.

Your high school degree is the record, not your own private reading hobby.

The business needs your records.

Sure, you can “read a lot” of books for personal hobby.

But, for the record, the business needs the record.

Commonplace hobby doesn’t cut it.

They need real evidence of your knowledge.

Unlimited reading brings us to so many possibilities.

We can read so many books and be so happy!

However, there are no teachers for most books.

Most books do not come with a teacher.

So, education is not available for the books.

Yeah, of course, you can read books for an unlimited hobby.

But, without education, you cannot get a record for it.

No record, no degree.

Just habit without the record.

A business usually cannot observe that with proper judgement.

Businesses often support education.

So, they have a great idea of what a high school degree means.

Unlimited reading is different.

For the record, a business likely needs information on education.

A private reading hobby is just… private.

Nobody really knows anything about it except you.

It’s your privacy.

It’s not a high school degree.

For business, record is greater than habit.

A habit can be irrelevant and mysterious.

No high school degree is irrelevant and mysterious.

A high school degree is a public record and it’s very important.
