Videogame Review, Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Genesis (w/ Sega Genesis 2, Sega 32X, and Brand New Sega Genesis 3-Button Controller)

Videogame Review, Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Genesis (w/ Sega Genesis 2, Sega 32X, and Brand New Sega Genesis 3-Button Controller)

Don’t play Sonic 1 for your Galaxy S9 phone.  The original Genesis version of Sonic the Hedgehog has never had serious glitches and poor controls; however, the Galaxy S9 version doesn’t stick to the original, good quality of the Genesis version.  I know this.  My Galaxy S9 has been really good for Mario Kart Tour and there shouldn’t be poor controls on my phone.  That isn’t to say the Sega 32X is superior or perfect in every way.  General connection between game and system, or game and console, gets tricky in terms of the graphical and practical design generalized for the entire Sega Genesis library.  You’ll look at the name “Sega Genesis” and probably think in positive thoughts.  Why?  Maybe it’s because of Sonic; maybe it’s because of Sega; maybe it’s because of 16-bit technology.  Who knows?  But we’re obviously going to have to extend the meaning of “Genesis” beyond Sonic the Hedgehog.  Sonic the Hedgehog is a work of comedy.  Think about it!  Jesus walked on water and Sonic ran on lava.  I find the running-on-lava concept disturbing since physics don’t typically begin and end with that fictional movement especially when coming from a blue hedgehog.  And, hedgehogs aren’t likely to be blue.  Whenever I play something abstract and fictional on the Sega Genesis, I have to walk outside and get a breath of fresh air, or, listen to realistic music, or, prepare and cook a meal in my real home; it’s important for me to recover from being lied to.  Imagine if I went out on the street and told someone, “Yeah, there’s a blue hedgehog!  All he has to do is jump back in the lava and come out with a golden ring.”  That’d be… crazy.  Particular gameplay is certainly enhanced with the greatness of abstraction when it counts.  Then again, I experience some pain while I’m recovering from fiction, abstraction, and total exaggeration, so you won’t be able to play Sonic the Hedgehog without experiencing pain.  Not only that.  Sega would eventually release Sonic games with 3D elements; and, coupled with the impossible physics implanted into the series, the blue hedgehog would soar into mixed reviews and, in some cases, total busts from the video game critics.  You’ll have to see both controller and TV when playing a game or else you’ll end up looking at the screen and wondering if you’re really “doing something” when, in fact, you’re not.  I’ve not had bad controls with the new 3-button controller for Sonic the Hedgehog and it’s really Sega’s original… device?  The controller has a blue button for starting and pausing.  It does play like the other Sega controllers I have for the Sega Genesis in terms of direction pad and 3 buttons.  Sonic may be lazy and he gets fun for playing with.
