“Notes and TV”
Television is only correct when you can write about it with good answers.
Or else, “TV” will become a confusing mess of illusions.
When I was a child, I was going to school.
At school, sometimes I would watch TV and do homework for it.
That is real experience of learning.
What’s not education is the following:
Going to a movie theater.
Watching a movie in the movie theater.
Eating popcorn, drinking soda, and munching candy during the movie.
(You don’t take notes in the movie theater.)
(You don’t do homework for the movie.)
(There’s no teacher in a movie theater.)
Leaving the movie theater when the movie is over.
And, after leaving the movie theater, laughing and forgetting about it.
This following situation is not education.
For this case, TV is useless.
It does nothing for you; you need to do something for TV.
You were “just looking” and never examining the movie.
It’s entertainment; however, it’s not Film Literature.
