“Movement and Thought”
“Just know when to keep your mouth shut.”
This is not a rule.
This is just play with common language.
How do you become a good thinker?
Well, read a philosophy book with philosophy for it.
Feeling your “mouth” is just “feeling” your mouth.
Sure, you can open your mouth.
You can close your mouth.
But, that does not make much of a difference with philosophy, does it?
Philosophy is done with logical evidence, not with feeling of mouth.
You will always have feeling of mouth.
Losing feeling of mouth is almost impossible.
Of course, learning examination another way is mostly possible.
Let’s examine the “rule” again:
“Just know when to keep your mouth shut.”
Is this a good rule?
From my careful observation, I disqualify the rule.
To “move your mouth” is only to “move” your mouth.
Personality, identity, and judgement are other things.
So, the real rule should be:
‘Examine life into good philosophy.’
Closing your mouth is just a movement.
Opening your mouth is just a movement.
It does not really matter which “movement” you do.
Philosophy goes beyond your moves.
It requires mindful care of truth.
