“How to Explain Goodness and Truth”
The goal of life is for someone to be good and true.
The goal of life is NOT for someone to be “equal” and “real”.
For example, homeless people are often “equal” and “real”.
Does that mean everybody should be homeless?
No, of course not.
A homeless lifestyle is not good and true.
That’s why we need to take precautions for residence and well-being.
So, to simply tell somebody to “get real” or “be equal” is misleading and wrong.
Think of it this way:
Rotten milk may be “real”, but that does not mean rotten milk is good.
Colors may be “equal”, but that does not mean equal colors are true.
A healthy apple can be red; however, a bottle of ketchup for junk food can be red.
Good and true is not the same as equal and real.
Equality and reality are important, but both should depend on responsible purposes.
