Videogame Review, Coconuts for the VCS Cartridge Adapter (Atari 5200 Device, Atari 2600 Gold Joystick)

Videogame Review, Coconuts for the VCS Cartridge Adapter (Atari 5200 Device, Atari 2600 Gold Joystick)

At times your explorer goes from having a point within the line of focus to being on a rush in accidental benefits.  Maybe the man is too curious, too bright, and too natural.  When a monkey starts throwing coconuts at the poor guy there’s a deal of laughter to be had from the ongoing pursuits into the island.  Coconuts look like stones on the outside and reveal fruit on the inside; however, the explorer can’t think of either of those ideas as he’s running back and forth between the different trees, monkey in pursuit and monkey in danger from which the man has to arrive somewhere in hidden view of the next coconut.  Monkeys can really get angry, of course.  The little rodent will eventually taunt the poor guy in aggressive yelps of rage while coconuts get prepared for the later moments.  My joystick has done real well for this game and it’s likely because more of the handle in my grasp has to deal with fewer directions, like fewer bananas on a huge plane, or, another cherry on top of a smaller sundae.  Getting into the action revolves on humor and gradual loss of dignity in the fields where island hoppers may presume their locations; I’m not referring to a specific nation or a particular army; rather, I’m presenting the reader with tidbits of information regarding the rest of the undergoing cliche: an explorer being hit by coconuts thrown from a monkey, under the palm trees, next to the waters, where even imagination spoils the choice as a gamer must choose hiding spots and fruitless endeavor.  Yes, the coconut may be like fruit, but the whole situation is still fruitless since the explorer can be knocked unconscious and be liable to even more dangers like getting lost on a tour or sleeping while the boat drifts to another shore 112 miles away.  I’m just guessing at what may be his predicament.  Certainly it’s funny when we see a guy running back and forth under the branches and it’s even more disturbing when we find the monkey enjoying himself while throwing coconuts at his umbrella, helmet, and skull.  Coconuts is generally quick, easy to play, and perfect for the novice types.  Then again it must be said that any story related to Coconuts must be very imagined in order for us to pursue the goods in action.  Your explorer can pick up a “life” in the form of an extra umbrella or extra part from the tool kit which won’t be used until the first or so umbrella or part vanishes.  Running moves themselves can be altered from the use of switches geared up for Atari 5200 consoles through the VCS Cartridge Adapter.  Sure, the adapter isn’t really quite a mobile device as Atari sometimes made it appear to be, and, from using the adapter over time I’ve had to relocate it at different spots so my materials on the dark brown coffee table remain safe and untainted.
