“Overconfidence”
A teacher stands in front of the classroom.
Students quit and go outside.
They smoke.
But, a teacher like him says, “Oh, it’s not me, it’s the drugs.”
How can we be sure?
Kids respond to all sorts of stress under awareness.
Incidents like this occur.
Usually teachers blame everything but themselves on students.
So, it’s never them according to them; it’s everything else.
This belief is a fantasy- students know teachers are at fault.
Professional workers get cocky.
Yelling, shouting, and criticizing excuse their overconfidence.
We’re going to have to pardon this behavior less and less.
