“The Mother Bat”
Three boys watch their mother walk into a black hole by surprise; she yelps, a voice booms from the warehouse’s internal cave of wonders- “Your call to wizards for all those stars now, I’m back and ready!”
Sounds vibrate like a watery grave, out of which this soaring black bat in blue skin rears its ugly head over their mother’s trap.
It flies, it knows.
An eternal voice keeps the wings together on a special tack for those three boys who hearken in surprise with their mom’s surprise.
Alex, the middle brother, demands his fist over the bat’s wings until the great monstrosity brushes the boys over with air, wind, and a fiery voice that negates impossible dreams.
Light approaches, a day to come beneath the shades where a plain element obscures its own maneuver.
