Book Review, The Lord of the Rings: Volume 1- Prologue: Concerning Hobbits by J.R.R. Tolkien
The historical account given on the evolution of hobbits is interesting. A prologue of this nature can stand out as its own joke, a romantic kind. Funny lines are provided with such charm, such sweetness, I tend to forget about my world’s problems at least somewhat although I try to keep our reality in mind. J.R.R. Tolkien remains to be a noteworthy author for a village kind of place called the Shire. History and bloodshed can be assumed in the Lord of the Rings series because the story itself lives in its déjà vu fictionally. Even if the story is quite new to those approaching Tolkien’s work they’ll find tidbits of humorous data imagined and exaggerated on by his mystique appearance that lends on to personal freedom over expressions for the hobbit world, like what’s seen in the webpages on our browsers for Tolkien’s related photos and demonstrated quotes and poems. Sometimes I’m not that much of a poet. Tolkien tends to have power and feeling combined into sentiment for ancient beginnings of Man and other wonderful fairytale figures. What’s included in the prologue, or excluded, depends on a reader’s judgement for the context between hobbit things and non-hobbit things. A hobbit itself is a strange creature; he’s like the Garfield of dwarves. You know how lazy Garfield the cat can be! These hobbit creatures really have too many demands for eating that’ll eventually land them in ignorance with dragon stories exhibited under Tolkien’s mixture of witty circumstances in simplicity and of dramatic exposure to worldly-renowned brownies. No, the hobbit doesn’t exactly have brownies, I’m being sarcastic. And forget the Garfield joke. Geesh! Exquisite lands and personalities become orbs in Tolkien’s native language creatively imagined for the hobbits’ world among often-grumpy wizards, adventure-seeking dwarves, and subtle fashion for dreams along poetic lines. Seriously? Yeah, it’s that serious. The 1st chapter to Volume 1 does a brilliant job of connecting with the prologue after we’ve achieved recognition for hobbit lines of ancestry through literary marks leaking into discoveries made for anything above high ground and low.
