Videogame Review, Zoop for the Sega Genesis 3 (Brand New Machine)

Videogame Review, Zoop for the Sega Genesis 3 (Brand New Machine)

Why focus so much in one error and leave the rest alone?  It gets depressing when we see a critic give bad art in criticism because we’re trying to figure out how to express ourselves while he’s just running on fumes; we don’t always know where this rage rests and his review for the bad work of art is even worse.  My review for Zoop is both positive and useful.  Try imagining a great, fresh machine at work.  Zoop runs off with qualities which must be spoken of for good reasons even if we’re running on fumes ourselves during arcade-style gameplay.  It’s a puzzle game and a shooter game.  Puzzles are solved by shooting at shapes coming in the background while jazz plays its keys in smooth vibes addressed to practical geometry- that is, you’re in control of a ship that’s required to maintain the home base as invaders and strange gods corrupt the corners into a threatening mass of shapes.  Zoop is very psychological and relaxing.  This is an arcade game that will make you smile unless there’s darkness in one’s heart.  Criticism like this is positive; however, I’ve discovered that artists can still dismiss my input because they’re constantly on the search for a big bang theory in artistic work.  Artists who have even a little bit of philosophy in their creativity are critics themselves.  Philosophy always involves criticism.  You’re going to run into artists who deny criticism, but that’s because they’re in denial of themselves during the search for a big bang in expression.  Zoop may not appeal to everybody- of course, jazz itself and the listed game title become oddities for those in pursuit of colorful happiness from within and without.  Controls with the Sega Genesis 3 controller are terrific: it’s brand new and well-wired.  Auto-fire isn’t recommended; the shots from your ship have colors which need relations in colors.  When a shot is made over the radar on a shape with different color your ship takes on the appearance of the same color and previous shapes and ongoing shapes can only be erased for high score by exact-color initials.  If your ship is purple, erase purple shapes; if your ship is orange, erase orange shapes; if your ship is blue, erase blue shapes; and so forth.  Our use of commas and periods is subjective and depending on judgement.  My commas usually represent a light pause in speech.  Anyways, there’s no such thing as universal grammar; if there was, we’d all speak one language and dialect and there’d only be one language and dialect.  Zoop can be sung over.  Jazz really hits the notes where shapes flow into their mass of dispute against control and insanity along the lines between shots made and shots received on their mark.  The general music is a delight to hear and appropriate for Sega Genesis standards.  Visually-speaking, Zoop is lower in par than Wario’s Woods, but the creative game exhibits confidence by Viacom and it’s not everyday that a Sega Genesis 3 console can play such deep-seated music.  Action is intense in the game and so is my feverish heart.
