“Giving Thumbs Up”

There’s a new species existing in our world wide web.

I’m talking about the Internet.

We have our share of visitors who give thumbs up to things.

In fact, they may give thumbs down to things.

Such visitors are common today.

Thumbs here, thumbs there, thumbs everywhere.

These people are often very dangerous.

All these guys give thumbs up or thumbs down, as if it really matters.

Thumbs up, thumbs down; thumbs up, thumbs down.

Guys like these are usually silent and very dismissive of everything.

What does it take for some fool to raise his thumbs up?

Or, even raise his thumbs down?

Up, down, up, down, up, down; it’s very pointless.

Can any of their fingers really give us sign language?

I feel offended by their low-key remark!

Since when does raising a little digit on the finger give valuable criticism?

These visitors are full of themselves.

Comments could be missing, videos could be disappearing.

We’re talking about intellectual animals in their natural habitat.

Thumbs up, thumbs down.

I see this on YouTube all the time: all thumbs, but no comments.

Do any of these fools see what they’re doing?

They’re cheating!

How could anybody even listen to these creeps?

People should’ve never always had this kind of allowance for thumbs.

It’s not speech and it’s not fair.

It’s a wordless, pointless, thoughtless activity.

Sometimes I wish their thumbs became invisible!
