“Positivity and Physicalism”

Wow!

Just LOOK at these comments:

“You can see the ocean rising with the waves.”

“Markets are stocking their shelves for the upcoming event.”

“The moon is shining tonight and stars glow bright in the sky.”

“The grass is green and getting taller for the warmer weather.”

“Gardeners are cutting the grass and pulling out weeds.”

“Restaurant workers will give service to their customers.”

“Parents will be with their children tonight.”

“Let’s talk about money.”

“Our nation is big.”

“This book has 374 pages.”

“The movie is 2 hours long.”

“Pass me the controller.”

“Give me the remote.”

“We’re watching TV and keeping an eye on the children.”

“It’s raining again.”

“Today will be sunny and a bit cloudy.”

“This is a place where all families can participate in the activity.”

Is this poetry?

Or… is this a weather report?

This is not poetry.

In fact, it’s even worse.

This is not positivity.

These comments are not “positive” at all.

These comments are neutral.

This is not positivity.

This is physicalism.

These comments are just “physical” in nature.

It’s physicalism, not positivity.

So, there’s no poetry from these comments.

My poem is only a poem for my personal life about it.

Positivity goes something like this:

“My friends are laughing together and they are happy as they can be.”

Physicalism goes something like this:

“Our visitors watch TV and eat popcorn.”

Do you see the difference?

Poetry should be emotional.

Poetry is not just “physical” and such.

All people are physical.

But, only a few persons are “poetic” in any way.
