Gaming Console Review, “New” Atari VCS (Modern “New” Atari Console)
This machine only works because of the internet. In our modern living, we are victims of such circumstance. It only works with internet! Without internet, my machine doesn’t do much. Videogame companies believe that internet is greater than machine. To modern videogame companies, internet is greater than wood, internet is greater than metal, internet is greater than rubber, internet is greater than parts, internet is greater than devices, internet is greater than controllers, internet is greater than buttons, internet is greater than phones, internet is greater than wires, internet is greater than robots, internet is greater than humans, internet is greater than engineers, internet is greater than people, internet is greater than motors, internet is greater than visions, internet is greater than futures, internet is greater than planets, etc. I am very, very upset. Now, in modern technology, people believe that “internet” is greater than everything else. That is really disappointing. The Atari VCS has a lot of good games on it. But, there’s a catch; it’s a serious one. You need internet for EVERYTHING. What ever happened to good, quality sound systems? Why do I have all this junk on my phone? How do people know anything? California’s traffic is getting worse and worse over the years. Programmers now think that internet, the world wide web, actually IS the machine. Ridiculous. Oh, yeah, a 5-year old probably wants to be an astronaut when he grows up. That child also wants to pick his nose. So, the general public is easily forgettable. Programmers and engineers run the show. In the 1990s, the “internet” was just air for the wave. It was like a radio wave. Now, video game companies want the “internet” to be the greatest machine in existence. What was once just air for the wave has now become the imaginary machine of their guilty pleasures. They want internet to be bigger than everything else in the world. Gamers have money. Now, video game companies want internet to be greater than money. They want internet to be greater than all the money in the world. I have difficulty in making purchases with my Atari VCS. The digital receipts are ruins from internet error. What happens when “old games” only exist on the internet anymore? Who says that “old games” will last on the internet forever? You know this question already. We can’t assume that old games will last on the internet forever and ever, and ever, and ever, forever, forever. The internet can run out. We can run out of internet. Even with good connection to internet, we can “run out” of internet. The internet can run out. Data still has to go somewhere. A radio wave can sink down under the motion. The “web” can fade away like a cell phone screen. Cell phone screens already have disordered brightness. Can you imagine a 4K TV? I have problems with my 4K TV quite often. And, my 4K TV is still brand new out of the box. However much machine is in my 4K TV is just a psychological wonder. The Atari VCS has some pretty good controllers and so much data to offer. However, when we get into the storm, any and all “thunder” may not be recoverable. We’re talking about a massive web with missing spiders. Today, you will likely find enough spiders for the web. But, when you handle more and more spiders, the “web” becomes a joke for denial. Nerds always “miss something”. I’m not always much of a nerd. At least I can give important information about my experience. I do not know what will come after the internet is all gone. But, if we lose both the “web” and the spider, we may not be able to create another web again.
