“Existence and Intention”
History and politics.
Do these special interests combine into just one academic subject?
No, I don’t think so.
History is like a record.
Politics is like a rule.
Records and rules are not the same thing.
We have records for existence of the past.
We have rules for intention of the present.
Existence and intention are not the same thing.
If there is existence, there may be intention.
But, that does not always mean we have intention for existence.
Existence pushes against intention.
Most existence of the universe goes beyond any human intention.
A human may have intention, but that does not mean the universe follows it.
Intention is more like thought and less like control.
Earth does not happen in my mind.
Earth happens because Earth happens.
My mind is just thoughtful about our very unknown planet.
