Videogame Review, Buck Rogers: Planet of Zoom for Atari 5200

For starters to a vacation, let's look at a terrible game!
Review of “Buck Rogers: Planet of Zoom” for the Atari 5200

This is a game that an idiot likes.  It’s come to my attention fools like this game.  Maybe this is because they actually see the buggy textures and hear the odd noises without coming up with useful care in speech, or an exclusive attitude they perceive is illustrated with pretentious smiles.  A lot of things are wrong with this game and as a strong Atari 5200 fan I can tell you why.  You see, you have this game from Sega called Planet of Zoom which is this game figuratively speaking.  With the elegance and harmony that Sega had with Frogger for the 5200, what happened to this one?  So many pixels and graphics are frozen in confusion I’m wondering if my 2-Port is broken.  Of course, that’s figure of speech.  I’ve gotten a refreshed 2-Port from Best Electronics, a company that sells gold controllers for the system, so everything should be working like new.  As a matter of fact, firing ammo would be pleasant as my ship goes between the magnetic tracks if it would work without having odd hiccups.  Pac-Man is such a beautiful game on the Atari 5200, too!  Classic Game Room’s review for the system was too bitter, especially since its leader enjoys playing with Planet of Zoom but acts in ridicule against Pac-Man.  Honestly, I don’t care if I play from arcade or home; it cuts both ways.  To say that I’m stunned is an understatement.  Planet of Zoom looks beautiful in the still photos and yet plays like a computer system gone wrong.  So much rage is built inside me!  That doesn’t mean I’d smash the game with a hammer though.  Games from the 80’s were made with bad senses and abstractions.  You can’t let someone play Planet of Zoom with the option of 2- or 3-star ratings since, if you are to do so, crazy crowds of gamers will never decide if a game is worth playing.  Back to what I’m saying, this game does not pass.  Its beauty is horrid, its touch laughable, something goes in for the kill, Atari fans have become ghosts of this.  Maybe Pac-Man should eat them.  Buck Rogers is somewhat of a cult for some guys who like to dive into shooting games.  However, whatever may seem erratic is to them quite normal and beauty is usually yawned at.  Perhaps there’s too much beauty in certain 5200 games since the console, like the Atari 400 and Atari 800 computers, tends to cough out technology too forcibly and almost with nauseating effects.  Super Cobra is better than Planet of Zoom because, although its style of gameplay is militaristic and harsh to come to terms with, everything is smooth and the firing doesn’t come to a crawl.  Planet of Zoom should be more like Super Cobra.  Sega has made such a poor item for dispute with Planet of Zoom when it has caused Atari gamers to numb their senses of fun and rush through the beauty without considering elegance of any kind.  For this case, watch Atari’s commercials from the past and be like the actors.
