Poem- “Only Get for What You Feed”

“Only Get for What You Feed”

You rip up banana skin.
The fruit inside gets eaten and the peel is left over a waste basket.
You “eat the food”.
But, you never “waste food”.
Attitude like this is imaginary pica.
So what are you eating and what are you wasting?
Would you look at a banana and say it’s half-and-half of food and waste?
People generally aren’t that absolute about bananas.
Some poor guy might slip on one and have nothing to eat.
We must be figurative or else the whole food is confused.
Who needs the shattered pieces of natural effect?
Maybe I’ll just eat the whole damn thing.
Or, I’ll bury it with nice, fresh soil so no one slips on it.
But then a dinosaur fossil will eat the banana and rise from the dead!
And how am I going to eat a dinosaur?
Would I be wasting food if I didn’t volunteer to be the dinosaur’s food?
Oh, NO!
