Poem- “Curious Behavior”

“Curious Behavior”

Curious behavior gets very arrogant in the real world.

How?

Well, let me tell you.

Someone can become too interested in wonder.

The wonder, in this case, is mysterious and unknown.

But he hopes for a good outcome.

From getting into this “wonderland” he stands up for a theory of his own.

Eventually he gets into a dreamland and cuts corners.

Brilliant and terrible events take place.

He’s suddenly experiencing more drama than he can handle.

Input and output are combined into vicious stress.

Opposition seems to come from everywhere.

Everywhere he turns, there’s another face, another clock, another rumor.

Soon this guy begins to go crazy and loses it.

He has regret, pain, and sorrow; or, he has attitude, noise, and confusion.

Unexpected results take place enough for him to cave in and he can’t get out.

Later on, as time goes by, he has a new hope.

He now hopes to return to his former residence that he gave rude notice of.

This man is probably going to even cry.

A tear is gone, but the wonder remains, and he may cry again.

So, what does this mean?

It means he was arrogant.

Hey, he wanted this dream and wonder!

Why turn back now?

Would this return to his old, forgotten past mean something of hypocrisy?

Arrogant men never have faith.

Or, if there’s faith, it’s abused for irrational wisdom and plain torture.

Call it trouble, call it fantastic- it’s a violent sense of awareness.

He will shake like a mountain and break faster than a rock.
