“Irreligious Persecution”

“Irreligious Persecution”

Examples of irreligious persecution include fighting baseball fans, attacking movie goers, and starting console wars.  One time I had a friend who wanted to kill Barney the Dinosaur.  Well, since David Joyner in the Barney costume could be mistaken as Barney the Dinosaur, just from the very nature of my friend’s insult I considered it an act of irreligious persecution.  What’s wrong with entertaining and teaching kids through an imaginary dinosaur?  The wish to harm someone over this cult must be irreligious persecution.  After all, Barney the Dinosaur isn’t a religious character in a figurative sense but can be attacked by an nonbeliever who doesn’t like him.  Such a criminal mind can then change the education system, prevent children from learning anything about the dinosaur except hate and prejudice, and weaken humanity’s respect for dinosaurs and other imaginary cults.
