Videogame Review, Sonic 4 Episode 1 for the Nintendo Wii

Videogame Review, Sonic 4 Episode 1 for the Nintendo Wii

I must clarify something.  Sonic is the world’s fastest hedgehog; however, he’s not the world’s fastest thing.  He doesn’t go at the speed of light or else we would never actually see him.  Sonic 4 begins with this episode although I’m not sure where the episode begins and ends for the Sonic series.  A title like “Sonic 4” is only figurative.  Wasn’t Sonic 3D Blast enough to qualify with Sonic CD as some kind of 4th installment or has Sega just been playing around with names given to the same blue hedgehog running through the wild in loops and curves against the name of science?  Hmmm.  Well, this Wii game does have many features which could apply for a better Sonic game.  In the “4th” installment it’s difficult to tell where Sonic is running because his dimensions move faster than his physics.  It’s, like, we know he’s supposed to be running when actually his feet are hardly moving anywhere; it’d be like if my own dimensions put me at the other end of the kitchen when my physics itself only lead me by one step from my foot.  Even when Sonic is rolling upon a deck of poker cards we get the illusion of fast-moving cards and Sonic walking in deep mud.  After seeing that I’m going, “Huh?”  There’s less to complain about on the Wii remote controls for this Sonic 4 version due to the Wii remote’s small, accurate direction pad, or direction controls, or direction buttons, or whatever.  This time around Sonic has to solve many extraordinary puzzles that can turn a player’s head down in concentration during the onslaught of graphically designed enemies.  Of course quite a few enemies are dull and pointless and won’t make a new, upcoming player feel the importance of Sonic the Hedgehog except through some kind of artistic craft job which requires him or her to pay attention to arts of all fairs.  Good drawings of Sonic on DeviantArt are in order despite the fact Sonic 4 puts us to a challenge that’s not only rough around the edges but flawed with something deep inside.  Sonic the Hedgehog (Xbox 360 game) had nice cutscenes which would’ve been better if intended for a good Sonic GAME.  Replaying the Sonic courses in this 4th sequel needs more refinement and tuning when it comes to the blue hedgehog’s beauty, elegance, and crazy modes of behavior typical to our videogame markets and their gross metaphors transformed into visuals, looks, and real material.  Me?  Oh, sometimes I’m pretty guilty of gross metaphors.  Just like the Sega, or Sonic, team, I express ideas in my words by my own literary understanding and outsiders/viewers of my art can take another turn for the worse, or get happy from all the information provided, video games for handling and progress as taken in Sonic 4 when some kind of superman, “faster than a speeding bullet”, starts getting slower from constant digital-to-digital translations of programs apparent in Sega’s marketplace today.
