Videogame Review, 1942 for the Nintendo Wii (Download)

All wars become racial.  Battles get in our way during the onslaught of conflict related to all humans on Earth, and, every human belongs to a race.  There’s no such thing as a human without race- that’s why wars are very contested on since racial ties come to our attention from all the turmoil in humanity.  1942 involves favoritism due to the contrast between different sides.  “Racism” is an applicable term for 1942 because soldiers are always vulgar and racism itself is always vulgar.  A person can only be peaceful from not attending either war or race specifically.  It’s a shooter that’s seen its days go by.  Airplanes of different colors, shapes, and sizes battle your hero who must head beyond the reach of destruction into a safe base from each time of relocating.  When we say that 1942 can be played by anyone it’s because war itself is a natural phenomenon understood to be necessary when the good guys are justified and the bad guys are unjustified.  That’s because a bad guy can’t really quite be justified.  Racism isn’t the whole object of most wars; however, there’s still racial ties which suggest racism as religions and political viewpoints come into play.  So why is 1942 entertaining?  Probably because it’s, not, real!  Airplanes in real life don’t just magically appear like Lucky Charms and 1942 has magic which lets us know it’s a very unreal program.  Think about it- do airplanes perform ballet in the sky, do bullets always make their mark on impact, do oceans just roll by in a nanosecond?  From reading WW2 books I know that it’s a real pain in real life for soldiers to travel over the ocean to get to point A and point Z and so on.  1942 has a comical effect: quick, thrill, rush.  It’s funny and nobody in real life gets hurt from playing video games unless the wrong influence is realized.  My Nintendo Wii runs the game very smoothly even with a questionable Wii remote sensor bar.  You’ll have to vary your touch; in particular, try sweeping in one direction only in a moment, or leaving some enemies alone and avoiding their barriers on you.  We don’t, and can’t, see what the humans look like; nonetheless, there’s still racial ties.  Religion covers races, politics covers races.  People often assume advantage when the exact brilliance doesn’t come.  Anti-racism isn’t worse than racism, not only because it takes a person with good habits to avoid war and destruction and thus racism also, but additionally because anti-racism is necessary for the permanent abolishment of slavery.  In order to join the army’s military tactics you have to transform yourself into a slave from notions of power, imbalance, and unfairness, so racism eventually becomes apparent during war.  Forget the labels.  While it may be understandable to say “oh, not all wars are racism” or “oh, not all soldiers are racist”, we get distracted by such labels as “religion”, “politics”, “nationality”, “humanity” and other such symbols and forget that wars are always racial.  Like I’ve said, every human belongs to a race, there’s no human without race.  Not to mention that “war” is actually a kind of race; a race for survival and victory.  We ought to oppose racism.  We ought to oppose war.  However, 1942 is a quick reminder of such possibilities.  Earth gets reported on over and over again from similar circumstances.  It’s not a game to take that seriously because we know it isn’t real; it’s a parody.  Representation of war is necessary in art from the very nature of human contact- that is, for us to watch a piece of fiction so we can know better how to prepare ourselves for reality, especially when art is combined with religion and politics.  So many works of art aren’t technically racism but there’s racial ties to them and thus racism is suggested, and that’s what I’m referring to.  Someone can easily become more racist by watching an event (art, politics, war, etc.) and ignoring the racial ties just because the labels confuse him or her.  That’s our fault, that’s our nature.  Even when one side of the playing field isn’t facing people of another race there can be drama within members of a single race and so a race against time in war is still apparent.  Racism isn’t just physical, it’s psychological.
