Poem- “Budgeting”

“Budgeting”

We eat on an empty stomach.
How full is this belly?

We have money for things we don’t need.
How full is this cash?

We look for discounts, low prices, and good deals.
How full is this routine?

We read newspapers about changes in society.
How full is this world?

We search for financial advisers.
How full is this ego?

We find great deals on the internet.
How full is this web?

We have money that is eventually spent.
How full is this quality?

We discover new ways to save money.
How full is this adventure?

We need help from family after we pass away.
How full is this bridge?

We buy materials that break later on.
How full is this habit?

We buy less money with even more money.
How full is this collection?

We argue over conflicting ideas.
How full is this dream?

We wake up to heavy sleepiness.
How full is this bed?

We eat food and destroy it.
How full is this plate?

We break items and believe we still have money.
How full is this illusion?

We count problems others desire.
How full is this budget?

I have a theory from these concepts.
Budgeting is a system of chaos.
That’s because we have more digits than what anyone can use, or, abuse.
So money has to be tied to languages, and, the world can’t contain it.
