"Prevention"

Remember the fashion industry?

They’ve tried to tell you that emotions aren’t a choice.

Do I believe it?

Well, there’s grains of accuracy in such rumor (instinct, heart, etc.).

But this kind of pseudo ideology has caused a lot of trouble for society.

Imagine- emotions are never a choice to those “experts”.

Then what is?

Feelings and emotions can come from choice.

Maybe it’s a kind of aversion towards decision-making.

Can we say that emotion never involves a decision?

Or, that an important decision never involves emotion?

Do people in the fashion industry actually enjoy making decisions, ever?

Philosophy also gets emotional.

How could someone’s emotional being never be a choice?

We can decide to be happy with our choices.

Rational passion isn’t entirely a myth.

You can talk about love, cool, depression, anxiety, or whatever.

Consider the outcomes!

Suicide is a huge problem in the United States.

What?

Is suicide an unpreventable emotional being?

Should we really say, “Well, he’s emotional, so he can’t make other choices”?

Emotional people should be given choices.

We can’t just disqualify good reason and good judgement for life and death.
