“Copying”

A teacher used her magic wand and turned her student into a book.

Then, she picked up the book and wrote all over it.

She got rid of every mistake, every error, every typo from this book.

Then, she used her magic wand and turned her book into a student again.

Mrs. Apple began telling her student what to do:

“Now, repeat after me- you may not have any independence.”

“I may not have any independence.”

“You can’t have your own opinion.”

“I can’t have my own opinion.”

“You will be a teacher just like me.”

“I will be a teacher just like you.”

“There, there, my little bookworm- you deserve a treat!”

Mrs. Apple gave Billy the same book she made him out of and laughed.
