Poem- “Gifts from Nowhere”

“Gifts from Nowhere”

Natives haven’t discovered everything from their homelands.

A native doesn’t know everything of his or her country.
Limits aren’t completely seen.
Barriers, opportunities, get rather mysterious.
I’m an American with limited knowledge of my own country.
Even the Indians have more to discover.
The human mind only receives and gives so much.
Nationality, however described, is very subjective and mythological.
Southerners don’t know everybody- if they did, they wouldn’t be Southerners.
Huge tracts of land are involved with lots of questions unanswered.
Mystery is appealing; however, people fight without knowing each other.
We need to learn how to give in to mystery.
Gravity is a factor, rotation is a factor.
Dimensions come into play where understanding begins.
Vague angles don’t revolve on themselves without our input.
And, just the input needs extensions and shortenings.
