Poem- “UFO”

“UFO”

A normal human being doesn’t own a spaceship.

You can walk outside and see this.

Normal people don’t ride rockets to space.

Space exploration is not a standard of average human living.

It’s a privilege for a few selected individuals for science.

The average human being usually just owns a car.

He or she goes to the gas station and fills up at the tank.

After filling a car up with gasoline, the human being goes to work.

This is our reality.

This is average human living.

Fighting aliens and shooting lasers is an idea from fiction.

We don’t fight aliens.

In fact, we don’t even meet aliens.

We just drive cars and get to business with everyday affairs.

Reality is not art.

Rocket ships are an exception to human transportation.

It’s generally not the rule.

And, it’s most certainly not the future for most human beings.

I’m telling the truth and have every right to tell the truth.
