Videogame Review, Ice Hockey for the Nintendo Entertainment System (w/ Brand New NES Advantage Controller)

Videogame Review, Ice Hockey for the Nintendo Entertainment System (w/ Brand New NES Advantage Controller)

When someone’s review is slang, dismiss the promotion.  My review is not slang.  Think about it!  Usually, or, generally speaking, players who use slang “lie” about their games.  Most bad words are lies.  Would you believe a reviewer’s slang?  No.  No, of course not.  That reviewer is probably lying.  You need a review with the facts and evidence of truth.  Slang is not philosophical.  I’m a philosopher.  NES Advantage controllers can be pretty expensive.  So, for my review, I will not use slang and will manage philosophy.  Does the NES Advantage controller work?  Yes!  But, there’s a catch.  Turbo fire only works for useless function.  And, the NES Advantage controller cannot be used by 2 players at once.  The NES Advantage has a switch for 1 Player or 2 Player.  You can switch between 1 Player or 2 Player.  However,  you cannot do 1 Player and 2 Player at the same time.  You can plug both wires in for the NES Advantage controller.  The NES Advantage controller has 2 wires.  2 wires connect for the NES Advantage unless you have something else in mind.  You can use one NES Advantage controller for Galaga for 2 Player.  However, you can’t use one NES Advantage controller for 2 Players who play the game at the same time.  NES games have these limits of gameplay.  Some NES games have 2 Player for divisions; some NES games have 2 Player for combinations.  Turbo fire does not work.  Ice Hockey is a game that requires strength of shots.  You may need a really, really strong shot.  Turbo fire does not work.  Even when I adjust the turbo fire with a grey dial the turbo fire just makes my hockey player(s) do really weird stuff that has no meaning for challenge and difficulty.  At least the big, red fire buttons feel very comfortable.  NES Advantage controllers also have disadvantage.  I don’t really enjoy bending down for a table to play with a joystick.  My NES Advantage controller is a “home arcade joystick” for gameplay.  It’s much easier to just hold my NES Advantage controller in my lap and be gentle with NES gameplay.  It does work for the right game.  And, Ice Hockey is one of those games.  I must make sure that my NES Advantage controller remains on my lap, and, I need to manage the gameplay with unique hands of position.  Unless I say otherwise, I don’t play against Player 2, ever.  I play alone.  For this reason, computer opponents are very important for my gameplay and Ice Hockey has excellent computer opponents.  It’s fun to manage my hockey team by adjusting character weight and speed.  The computer does select character weight and speed for their hockey teams at random; so, you will want to pay attention to what “hockey team” the computer has and create your “hockey team” that you feel is best against the computer’s.  Remember that the Nintendo Entertainment System was a “computer” for gaming with less accessories in some areas, and, more accessories in some areas.  The Atari 2600 console was a video computer with less memory and less accessories.  As such, the Nintendo Entertainment System is also a video computer.  This means the Nintendo Entertainment System was usually more ergonomic with greater innovation of unique devices than the Atari 2600 console.  Sometimes, the Atari 2600 console has more ergonomics and innovation, but the Nintendo Entertainment System was a superior video computer for the “future” of the present improvement in the late-1980’s.
